Abstract

1. Composite web as paper-making machine fabric, consisting of a fine upper web having a simple binding and of a coarser lower web, characterized in that the lower web (10) is provided with two groups of cross threads, the first one of which is interweaved in 1:1 -binding and the second one of which is interweaved in 1:n -binding with warp threads of the lower wed, that the cross threads of different kind of binding following to one another contact each other forming on the inner surface of the lower wed double knuckles (5) and that the long n-nuckles (7) on the outer surface form an abrasive plain, wherein n means odd numbers greater than 1.
