Abstract
Coating of stainless steel chemical unit equipment and parts where the surface to be coated is pretreated and coated with at least one layer of Ni-P alloy by current-free (sic) deposition from a galvanizing bath. The surface to be coated is pickled with an activator solution at 40-85 [deg] C containing HF or HF salt (10-300 ml), sulfuric acid 1-5 ml), sublimed Fe(III) chloride (1-2 g), Ni chloride (6-12 g), citric acid (10-20 ml) and water.
