Abstract

The cardboard composite container (1) has a paper or cardboard composite sleeve (4) with an inner lining (7) and with the opening edge (4a) of the sleeve formed over to create a flange (10). A membrane (6) is recessed in the sleeve and is sealed on the inner lining exclusively by an annular sealing face (12) parallel to the sleeve. The membrane has a tongue folded down inwards to form a tear-off tab (13). An outer layer (8) of the sleeve in the region of the flange on the outer side (9) of the sleeve lies in a parallel position.
