Abstract

1. A device, which is more especially designed for administering a full length or sitz bath, comprising a bath tub (1) and a trough-like foil (9) placed thereover characterized in that the foil (9) is in the form of a liquid-tight foil (9) providing for separation of the space (13) over the foil from the space under the foil (11) which is also able to be filled with bath liquid, said foil (9) being attached to the tub (1) so that its surrounding edge extends at least as far as the circumferential edge (17) of the tub and in that a plurality of bath liquid supply tubes (27) are present which come to an end in the said space (11) under the foil and their outlet ends (29), arranged with a spacing between them, are directed towards different points on the foil (9).
