Abstract

Connection rings (7) are located at both ends of the stator. The rings are fabricated separately, and are fastened to the ends of a helical jacket (1), which corresponds to the inner contour of the stator. The jacket has even wall thickness over virtually all of its length. The inner faces of the rings are shaped to conform to the inner contour of the elastomer stator. Each ring has circumferential grooves (9) in the outside, to accommodate sealing rings (10).
