Abstract
An air conditioning system has plate type heat exchangers to exchange heat between the incoming air flow and the expelled air flow to conserve energy. The incoming air is dehumidified using hydroscopic liquid sprayed over the plate heat exchangers. Liquid which drains off the heat exchangers is collected and recycled, ie. the water is removed by heating. The liquid is cooled and recycled to the heat exchangers.
