Abstract

The chair has a seat pan (3) and a backrest (2) that can be adjusted for various postures. The back rest is pivot mounted at one point and the seat pan at another. Built into the seat mechanism is a gas spring (6) and a coil spring (11). Linkages connect with the backrest and the seat pan for adjustment purposes.
