A shaving implement includes a platform portion (4), a back portion (6), a cap portion (8) overlying the platform portion (4), endwalls (14) interconnecting the platform and cap portions (4, 8), the platform, back, cap and end wall portions (4, 6, 8, 14) being an integrally molded plastic united, and a blade member permanently disposed between the cap and platform portions (8, 4), the cap portion (8) exercizing a clamping pressure on the blade member.
