Abstract
The railway transport train (1) consists of several single flat bed wagons (2) with fixed chassis lengths of 20, 30 and 40 feet. The wagons accept removable containers, tanks and articulated truck trailers. A approximately one third of the wagons are connected by fixed length coupling rods (7) and two thirds by length adjustable coupling rods (8). The end wagons have standard height buffers (6) while the intermediate wagons have increasingly lower chassis with smaller wheels. Heavier loads are supported on four axle wagons and lighter loads on two axle wagons.
