Abstract

The coupling socket (1) is formed with a rear ring region (2). When a plug connection is made between the plug (14) and the socket (1), the ring region (2) lockingly engages the plug (14). The socket preferably has a securing component (12) in the ring region (2), formed as a ring element running round the circumference of the socket (1). The ring element is arranged to move axially or radially on the cladding surface. When the plug connection is made the circumference completely or partly bounds the socket (1). The ring element (12) is preferably a radial element which is radially guided in the outer ring region (2) of the socket (1). The ring element is preferably made of non-elastic plastic.
