Abstract

The proposed laundry stand (1) exhibits a drying rack (2) which is essentially made up of a long bar (3) and crossbars (4,4'), and connected bars (5) to take the laundry. The long bar (3) is supported on the ground (11) with two crossed supports (9,10) by way of rotary joints (12, 12'). The laundry bars (5) are made up of two bar sections (6,7), on the ends of which coupling blocks (26,27) are fixed, which exhibit a drilled hole through which the opposite bar section (6,7) extends. The crossbars (4,4') are held in the long bar (3) by means of telescopic bars (32). When the crossbars (4,4') are pulled out, the coupling blocks (26,27) push against them, thus preventing the bar sections (6,7) from bending appreciably when loaded with washing. <IMAGE>
