Abstract

The object of the present invention consists in providing an apparatus for mounting a shelf or optionally the most varied commodity goods on a wall. According to the invention, a wall mounting device is provided for this purpose, having a retaining profile strip (10) which can be attached to the wall and has a U-shaped web with fixing holes, which can be attached parallel to the wall, an upper U-shaped flange (12), which is connected at the upper end to the U-shaped web and is approximately perpendicular thereto, a lower U-shaped flange, which is connected to the lower end of the U-shaped web and is arranged approximately perpendicular thereto, an arm, which is arranged in extension of the lower U-shaped flange, is bent slightly obliquely upwards and projects beyond the upper U-shaped flange (12) in the plan view, and a support web (20), which is formed at the end of the arm, having a flat support surface.
