Abstract

In this hair curler a curved tensioning clip (2) made of absorbent textile material is provided, which initially absorbs a surplus of perming liquid from the curled hair, which is subsequently quickly extracted from it by drying or evaporation. The drying operation is accelerated by hollow spaces (13) and openings (14) in and on the roller bar (1), since the drying air is able to flow unhindered through the curler. A clip (11) in basket form enclosing the curled hair assists the perming shaping without affecting the drying speed.
