Ketienbaumregula. tor.

Ketienbaumregula. goal.
The subject matter of the invention relates to chain boom regulators which, as is known, aim to brake the chain boom in such a way that for each weft the corresponding chain is adjustable and self-regulating according to the consumption of the chain boom. With these devices, the creation of weft-streaked goods is excluded and the tension of the warp threads is retained. Chain tree regulators have already become known in which a feeler roller, which remains in constant contact with the chain tree, acts through an intermediate lever mechanism on one of the rocking levers that switch the chain tree, so that when the diameter of the chain tree changes, the sensor lever adjacent to its circumference changes the effective switching lever length .
In contrast, the essence of the invention is that the feeler roller acts through a linkage on a pair of interconnected, adjustable in length, movable rocking levers that switch the chain tree.
The invention is shown in FIGS. I and 2 in combination and a detail of the control shaft. The regulator consists of a drive eccentric a, the drive lever b with the roller attached to it, the ratchet lever d with the pawls e and the bolt guide slot f, a length-adjustable connecting rod g, the shift shaft h on which the ratchet lever and the ratchet wheel i , the exchangeable spur gear j and the brake

adjustable and held on the spring o by means of screw bolts p, so that complete braking is excluded. The movement of the selector shaft is transmitted to the chain tree v by means of the wheels q, r, s, t, U.
The feeler roller 11) sits on an angle lever x, y, which is connected to the lever z for the purpose of a correct stroke ratio, and rolls along the circumference of the fully occupied chain tree. The end of the lever z is connected to the slotted bolt of the adjusting lever g by means of a support rod, so that any change in the

half-wide limits without changing the change gear j and the exact setting.
The mode of operation is as follows: The shifting of the chain beam is carried out by the eccentric a sitting on the loom main shaft or some other drive shaft through the switching mechanism and the gear ratio, and the circuit can be adjusted through the guide slot in the drive lever b so that it moves the chain beam on each Weft slackens almost as much as warp is needed for a weft. As the chain is unwound, the chain boom diameter continues to decrease, with the feeler roller w attracted by the spring 4 on the lever y remaining in constant contact with the chain boom and, depending on the decrease in the outer chain boom diameter through connecting rod g, a larger circuit that corresponds to the decreasing chain boom diameter , initiated automatically.
The band brake I avoids a decrease in the gear ratio during the shift breaks, thus ensures precise shifting and, thanks to its resilient suspension, compensates for the tension relationships if the entire system is incorrectly adjusted, so that there is no need to fear malfunctions for this reason.
