Verstellbare Rollvorhangstange.

Adjustable roller curtain rod.
The invention relates to curtain rods that are adjustable in length and consists in the fact that these are composed of individual, interchangeable parts that abut and connect with their front ends, so that any arbitrary length of the rod can be achieved only by adding or removing parts. Compared to known devices, in addition to the free choice of the length of the rod, the advantage is also achieved that an adjusting device is completely avoided and that the assembly of a rod only requires the amount of material that corresponds to the desired length.
The drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention, for example, in three embodiments; the first is shown in a front view or in section in FIGS. 1 and 4, the second in FIGS. 2 and 5, the third in FIGS. 3 and 6.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 4, the curtain support rod is composed of parts a, a of the same length and a shorter part b. These. Parts are connected to one another by screw pins c and are chosen so that together they form the length required for the curtain. It is possible to assemble a bar of any length from parts that have a very small difference in length. For longer rod lengths, it is advisable to choose a part of greater length and to add shorter parts to the desired size. On the ends of the rod assembled in this way, the pulley d, the closing element e and the support pins f are fastened in a very similar manner by means of screws.
The boreholes and screw threads required for this are provided beforehand during the manufacture of the exchangeable parts, so that there is no risk of an oblique or eccentric attachment. The loading plate is composed in a similar way from parts g, h and i.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 2 and 5, the rod parts are at the ends with
Pins l and holes provided by means of which the parts can be closed to one another. A rod m extends centrally through the completely assembled curtain support rod and connects the support rod parts with one another and with the closing element.
The front support rod made of interchangeable parts, shown in FIG. 3, is constructed from a metal sleeve with an open foot and a closed head. The head of each sleeve is designed in such a way that it fits exactly into the foot of the next sleeve and is provided with a central opening for the purpose of inserting the rod 111; the latter connects the sleeves n, the pulley d, the closing element and the support pins f.
The connection of the curtain with the rod composed of parts can take place in any way.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Adjustable roll-up curtain rod, characterized in that the support rod and possibly also the loading bar is assembled on the interchangeable, mutually connecting and interconnected parts in such a way that the same can only be changed in length by adding or removing one or more of these parts.
