Es sind schon Vorrichtungen zur medizinischen Licht-und Wärmebehandlung bekannt, welche aus einem Gehäuse bestehen, welches die zu bestrahlende Stelle dicht ab- schliesst und in dessen Scheitel eine Lichtquelle angebracht ist.
Gegenüber diesen Einrichtungen besteht die vorliegende Erfindung darin, dass für das Gehäuse ein Material verwendet wird, welches die Wärme schlecht leitet. Dadurch wird der Vorteil erreicht, dass man in dem engen Raum, den der Apparat umschliesst, eine hohe Steigerung der Temperatur herbeiführen kann, ohne dass eine Verbrennung eines. Körperteils eintreten würde. Der Körper ist daher auch in der Lage, eine lange anhaltende Bestrahlung auszuhalten, was bei den bisher bekannten Apparaten nicht möglich war.
Das Gehäuse aus schlecht wärmeleitendem Material wird nun noch mit einem aufklappbaren Teil versehen, um den Apparat den Formen der verschiedensten Körperitellen anpassen zu können.
Die Zeichnung stellt mehrere Ausführungsbeispiele dar. Fig. 1 und 2 zeigen einen Strahlkörper von zylindrischer Form.
Der Körper a ist mit einer Klappe o versehen, die so geformt ist, dass der Rand b beim Aufsetzen auf einen Körperteil, beispielsweise ein Knie, sich fest an den Körperteil anlegt. Legt man die Klappe herunter, so erhAlt man einen geraden Rand, der für die
Behandlung anderer Körperstellen benutzt wird.
Die Fig. 3 zeigt den Strahlkörper in der Seitenansicht. In dem oberen Teil d ist die Lampe/eingebaut.
Fig. 4 zeigt den Stahlkörper g in Form eines Kegels mit einem etwas ge- wölbten Rand.
Der Hohlkörper hat also demnach einen Rand, dessen Form der zu behandelnden Körper- stelle angepasst ist, so dass der Stahlkörper dicht abschliessend auf den betreffenden Körper- teil aufgesetzt werden kann.
Der Apparat dient bei Menschen und Tieren zur Unschädlichmachung und Tötung von Bazillen auf der Haut, z. B. bei parasitären Hautkrankheiten, ferner zur Erzeugung lokaler. aktiver Hyperamie. Durch die Blutuberfüllung wird nämlich das Gewebe der Haut gelockert, so dass die heilenden Strahlen leichter in die unter der Haut liegenden Organe eindringen und diese zu erhöhter Tatigkeit anregen. Dabei bleiben aber alle Teile, die ausserhalb des Randes des Strahlkörpers liegen, ganz unbeeinflusst.
