Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zur Entlastung der Laufbahn und der Kugeln beim Einbringen der Kugeln in Kugellager mit seitlicher, bis an die Laufbahn reichender Einfüllöffnung, die beim Einfüllen ohne exzentrische Verschiebung der Laufringe durch zwischen diese greifende Backen oder dgl. vergrössert wird. Sie besteht darin, dass während des Einbringens die bereits eingefüllten Kugeln mittels zwischen die Laufringteile eingelegter Zwischenstücke entlastet werden, um eine möglichst grosse Anzahl von Kugeln, ohne Beanspruchung derselben und der Laufbahn, einfüllen zu können.
Eine solche Anordnung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 einen Achsialschnitt durch Fig. 2 und Fig. 2 die der Fig. 1 entsprechende Seitenansicht. Es bezeichnet 1 den Aussenring, 3 den Innenring, 2 die im Aussenring angebrachte Einfüll- öffnung und 4 eine für gewisse Fälle zweckmässige kleine Hilfsausnehraung im Innenring.
Die Ausnehmungen enden ein bestimmtes Stück vor der Mitte der Laufbahn, derart, dass sie von dieser Laufbahn durch die Rippen 5 und 6 getrennt bleiben. Die Einfüllöffnung ist so ausgebildet, dass die Kugeln leicht in die Stellung I und von dort in die Stellung II gelangen können, auch wenn die Ringe gleichachsig zueinander angeordnet sind. Damit die Kugeln aus der Stellung II in die Endstellting III gelangen könneii, werden die Ringe durch zwei Backen 7 und 8 auseinander getrieben, die sich mit Ansätzen 9 und 10 zwischen die Ringe einlegen und z. B. durch eine Presse, durch Keile oder dgl. auseinandergespreizt werden.
Durch das gewaltsame Vergrössern der Einfüllöffnung entsteht ein sehr beträchtlicher Druck, der die schon eingefüllten Kugeln sehr stark belastet und ihre hochglanzpolierte Oberfläche beschädigen könnte, der ferner ein Verschieben der schon eingefüllten Kugeln von der Einfüllstelle weg nicht oder nur unter grossen Schwierigkeiten und unter Verletzung der Kugeln gestattet.
