Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Nadelspitzensicherung für Sicherheitsnadeln, Broschen, Spangen und dgl. jener Art, bei welcher die die Nadelspitze sichernde und schützende Kappe auf einem auf dem Nadelträger drehbaren und in der Sicherungsstellung feststellbaren Arm angeordnet ist. Der Erfindung gemäss ist der die Schutzkappe der Nadelspitze tragende Arm federnd ausgebildet und besitzt einen Fortsatz, der in der Sicherungsstellung der Kappe in eine Vertiefung des Nadelträgers eingreift oder sich gegen eine Randleiste bzw. einen Anschlag stützt, um ein unbeabsichtigtes Verdrehen des die Sicherungskappe tragenden Armes auszuschliessen.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in zwei beispielsweisen Ausführung8- formen veranschaulicht.
Die Fig. 1, 2 und 3 zeigen die Anordnung der Nadelspitzensicherung an einer Brosche in Seitenansicht, Draufsicht bzw. in schaubildlicher Darstellung, während die Fig. 4, 5 und 6 die Sicherung an einer Spange in analoger Weise darstellen.
Die Spitze der Nadel d, welche durch eine bligelförmige Kappe a gesichert erscheint, ist in bekannter Weise, auf einem auf dem Nadelträger der Brosche b (Fig. 1 bis 3) drehbar gelagerten Arm c angeordnet. Der Arm c trägt der Erfindung gemäss an seiner Unterseite einen Fortsatz f, der bei Drehung des Armes auf den Nadelträger über eine geneigte Fläche g des Nadelträgers gleitet und den federnden Arm etwas emporhebt, bis der Fortsatz f an den inneren Rand der Brosche anliegt (Fig. 2). Der Arm c ist der Form des Nadelträgers angepasst, so dass er in der Sicherungsstellung auf dem Nadelträger aufliegt Der Fortsatz f stützt sich gegen den Innenrand der Brosche und verhindert eine unbeabsichtigte Verschiebung des Armes c.
Um die Nadel d freizugeben, wird der federnde Arm c etwas gehoben, so dass der Fortsatz f über den Rand gelangt und eine Verdrehung des Armes seitwärts möglich ist.
Bei der Ausführungsform der Spitzensicberung für eine Spange (Fig. 4 bis 6) ist der die bügelförmig Sicherungskappe a tragende federnde Arm c, der Form der Spange entsprechend, gerade und trägt an der Unterseite einen Fortsatz f, der in eine Vertiefung h des Nadelträgers b in der Sicherungsstellung eingreift, während der Verschiebung des Armes in die Sicherungs-und in die Offenstellung aber den federnden Arm etwas emporhebt, so dass dieser sich längs des Nadelträgers bewegen kann. Infolge der Federung des Armes greift der Fortsatz f in die Vertiefung h des Nadelträgers und sichert den
Arm c mit der Sicherungskappe a der Nadel gegen unbeabsichtige Verdrehung.

The invention relates to a needle point safety device for safety pins, brooches, clasps and the like. Of the type in which the cap securing and protecting the needle point is arranged on an arm which can be rotated on the needle carrier and locked in the safety position. According to the invention, the arm carrying the protective cap of the needle tip is resilient and has an extension which engages in a recess of the needle carrier in the locking position of the cap or is supported against an edge strip or a stop to prevent unintentional rotation of the arm carrying the safety cap to exclude.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in two exemplary embodiments.
1, 2 and 3 show the arrangement of the needle point safety device on a brooch in a side view, top view or in a diagrammatic representation, while FIGS. 4, 5 and 6 show the safety device on a clasp in an analogous manner.
The tip of the needle d, which appears to be secured by a bell-shaped cap a, is arranged in a known manner on an arm c rotatably mounted on the needle carrier of the brooch b (FIGS. 1 to 3). According to the invention, the arm c carries an extension f on its underside which, when the arm is rotated on the needle carrier, slides over an inclined surface g of the needle carrier and lifts the resilient arm slightly until the extension f rests against the inner edge of the brooch (Fig . 2). The arm c is adapted to the shape of the needle carrier so that it rests on the needle carrier in the secured position. The extension f is supported against the inner edge of the brooch and prevents unintentional displacement of the arm c.
To release the needle d, the resilient arm c is raised slightly so that the extension f passes over the edge and the arm can be turned sideways.
In the embodiment of the Spitzensicberung for a clasp (Fig. 4 to 6), the resilient arm c carrying the bow-shaped securing cap a, corresponding to the shape of the clasp, is straight and has an extension f on the underside which is inserted into a recess h of the needle carrier b engages in the securing position, but while the arm is being displaced into the securing position and into the open position, it lifts the resilient arm somewhat so that it can move along the needle carrier. As a result of the suspension of the arm, the extension f engages in the recess h of the needle carrier and secures the
