Waschmaschine.
Fig. 1 einen senkrechten Schnitt der Maschine,

Washing machine.
The invention relates to a washing machine in which air is pressed into the laundry from below, and consists in the fact that the suction line of the air pump draws the air from the washing container; This avoids rapid cooling of the liquor by introducing cold air into the container.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown, namely shows:
1 shows a vertical section of the machine,
Fig. 2 is a view from above with the cover removed.
The bottom 1 of the container 3 is provided with a stuffing box 2 through which a shaft 4 provided at the upper end with a thread and wing nut 13 passes.
This shaft is connected below by means of articulated rails 5 to a balancing rod 6 which is set in up and down movement by a lever 7.
The same lever simultaneously activates an air pump 9, which is attached to the side of the container and is connected to the other end of the balancing rod by hinged rails 8.
The pump presses the air through the line 10 into a perforated coiled tube 11 resting on the bottom of the container.
The air pipe 10 is guided by the pump into the bucket at an appropriate height in order to prevent the lye from overflowing into the air pump.
After the container 3 has been filled with laundry and hot lye, the perforated shell 12 is screwed onto the shaft 4 and closed with the lid 14.
When the lever 7 pushes the piston 15 of the air pump upwards, the compressed air is driven through the line 10 and the serpentine tube 11 through the laundry mass, which tends to inflate itself, but is compressed by the shell 12. As a result, the air that has penetrated the laundry is driven out of the laundry again and, with the aid of the lye, will now take away the dirt from the laundry.
This repeated blowing through of the air and the squeezing of the laundry causes the laundry to be cleaned quickly and completely.
The air pump can be of any device.
In order to prevent rapid cooling of the liquor by supplying cold air, according to the invention the suction valve 18 of the pump is connected to the upper part of the container by means of the line 17; In this way, the air drawn in is warmed up by the steam from the hot lye.
