Durch fortgesetzten Druck wird durch den Kopf 14 die Feder 9 ihrer Federwirkung entgegen nach oben gedrückt, bis der Kopf 14 vollständig in die Öffnung eingetreten ist. In diesem Augenblick drückt die Feder 9 auf den Kopf 14 in der Richtung von dessen Achse und verschiebt ihn dadurch soweit seitwärts, dass sich der Absatz 15 hinter den Flansch 4 legt. In dieser Lage hält die Feder den Kopf 14 und sichert ihn dadurch dauernd gegen unbeabsichtigtes Lösen.
Das Öffnen des Verschlusses erfolgt dadurch, dass man die Teile noch-etwas zusammendrückt und sie gegenseitig seitlich soweit verschiebt, dass der Absatz 15 ausser Eingriff mit dem

Aus den Fig. 2 und 3 geht hervor, dass die Feder 9 im wesentlichen in einer Ebene liegt, die senkrecht zu der Achse des geneigten Kopfes 14 verläuft, wenn di Teile nach dem Schliessen des Verschlusses in ihrer normalen Lage sind. Wenn die Teile in dieser Lage sich befinden, kann durch einen vom Kopf ausgeübten seitlichen Druck die Feder derart nach oben bewegt werden, dass man den Kopf in der beschriebenen Weise lösen kann. Werden dagegen die beiden Teile des Verschlusses gegeneinander verdreht, so wirkt der Kopf in der Querrichtung auf die federnde Zunge, wodurch die Aufwärtsbewegung der Feder und das Lösen des Kopfes verhindert wird.
Man kann hierdurch also die Teile derart in der Verschlusslage sichern, dass ein unbeabsichtigtes Lösen nicht möglich ist, während sich andererseits der Verschluss mit der Hand leicht öffnen lässt. Durch eine plötzliche Drehung des Handgelenkes, die bei bekannten Druckknöpfen leicht ein Lösen hervorruft, wird im vorliegenden Falle die erwähnte Verdrehung der Teile herbeigeführt, die eine vollständige Sicherung gegen unbeabsichtigtes Lösen zur Folge hat.
