Abstract

An apparatus for mixing gases and liquids together, consists of a mixer which pumps the gas into the liquid, producing numerous small bubbles. The mixer consists of a drive (2), a pump (9) which draws in the gas, and a spirally shaped atomiser (12). The pump and the atomiser are operated from the same drive and have a common shaft. The atomiser is located on top of the pump, which is located over the drive, so the gas drawn in by the pump can rise in the atomiser where bubbles are formed.

   PATENTANSPRUCH : 
Fluidmischer, zur Vermischung von Gas mit Flüssigkeit, bestehend aus einem Antrieb, einer beliebigen Pumpe, die das Gas ansaugt, und einem   wendelförmigen   Zerstäuber, der beide
Fluide vermischt, wobei Pumpe und Zerstäuber von demselben Antrieb angetrieben werden, weiters Antrieb, Pumpe und Zerstäuber eine gemeinsame Achse besitzen und in einem Ge- häuse vereint sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Zerstäuber (12)   wendelförmige   Arme be- sitzt, und ausserdem Antrieb (2), Pumpe (9) und Zerstäuber (12) ubereinander angeordnet sind, so dass das von der Pumpe (9) angesaugte Gas in dem darüberliegenden Zerstäuber (12) auf- steigt und dort in Bläschen zerrissen wird.
