Der Sockelfuß 3 besteht aus einem Oberteil 4 sowie einer höhenverstellbaren Stützsäule 5, die wiederum aus einer Hülse 6 und einem darein einschraubbaren Gewindeteil 7 besteht. Wie insbesondere aus Figur 1 hervorgeht, ist der Sockelfuß 3 in seinem oberen Bereich, also im Bereich des Oberteiles 4, mit einem Befestigungsflansch 8 und einem Stützflansch 9 versehen. Der Befestigungsflansch 8 erstreckt sich in Richtung der Sockelfußlängsachse und ist gegenüber dieser asymmetrisch versetzt. Der Stützflansch 9 verläuft rechtwinklig zum Befestigungsflansch 8. Die Breite des Stützflansches 9 entspricht der Dicke einer Möbelseitenwand 10.
