Hiezu 1 Blatt Zeichnung -2-No. 390 531 The invention relates to a device for protecting a stator sheet stack provided with a packet tensioning bolt of an electrical machine, in which the packet tensioning bolts are arranged insulated from the stator sheet stack and a resistor circuit with an optical display is provided, which is on the one hand with the packet tensioning bolt and on the other hand with the stator sheet stack connected is. A device of the type mentioned is already known from AT-PS 374 982. However, this device has some disadvantages. So it can happen that at higher currents the line to the display device melts. This usually results in greater damage to the stator core. Another disadvantage of this device is that the current transformers which are mostly required for this device and which are intrinsically cost-intensive are arranged in the associated control rooms. The result of this is that when currents occur due to insulation damage, on the one hand these currents are conducted into the switching values and on the other hand there are undesired carry-over of potentials. The object of the invention is to provide a device of the type mentioned at the outset which avoids the disadvantages of the known device and which also detects intermittent earth faults. The device according to the invention is characterized in that the packet clamping bolts are grounded and that the optical display is a light-emitting diode, the signal of which can be fed via a light guide to a receiver, which in turn emits a logical ON or OFF signal. One of the most serious advantages of this invention can be found in the fact that in the event of an earth fault, the earth fault current is limited via the earth fault point, as a result of which the earth fault current is very small. In addition, short-term earth faults, even if they are far below 1 ms, can also be detected with the invention. An indication is also given for higher-resistance earth faults, which are each above 1 fcQ. In addition, there is the advantage that the circuit consists exclusively of passive elements. It is also advantageous that there is no risk of carryover of potentials and / or equalizing currents via measuring lines through the use of optical fibers. Another advantage of this device according to the invention is that the detection device can be checked by applying an external voltage. The invention is explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. The FIG. Shows a generator stator with the earth fault monitoring of stator press bolts. According to the figure, the individual stator laminations are clamped together with packet clamping bolts (1) to form the stator laminate stack (2). These packet clamping bolts (1) are completely surrounded by insulation in the stator core packet (2). Furthermore, these packet clamping bolts (1) are connected to the stator core (2) via a conductive connection (3) so that they are at ground potential. A resistor circuit (4) with a light-emitting diode (5) is provided as an optical display on the stator core (2). This resistor circuit (4) is connected on the one hand to the package clamping bolt (1) and on the other hand to the stator core (2). The monitoring device is therefore based on an ohmic grounding of the packet tensioning bolts (X). As a result, each packet clamping bolt (1) is kept at earth potential when the machine is operating correctly. In the event of an earth fault, a short-circuit current flows through this ohmic grounding, which triggers an optical display via the light-emitting diode (5). This optical display can now be used directly via fiber optics (6) to display errors. In addition, the signal could also be fed to a receiver (8), which in turn emits a logical ON or OFF signal, also via optical fibers (7). PATENT CLAIM Device for protecting a stator core package provided with package tensioning bolts of an electrical machine, in which the package tensioning bolts are arranged insulated from the stator core package, and a resistance circuit with an optical display is provided, which is connected on the one hand to the package tensioning bolt and on the other hand to the stator core package, characterized in that that the packet tensioning bolts (1) are grounded and that the optical display is a light-emitting diode (5), the signal of which can be fed via a light guide (7) to a receiver (8) which in turn emits a logical ON or OFF signal.
