While with the known wedges at least the wedge length plus an additional dimension must be pulled out of the anchor --11--. For a restraint device, the wedge can only be pulled out a little in order to be able to insert the restraint device between the surfaces --12 and 14--. For high tensile stresses on tendon --3-there is a possibility to apply another tensile stress on tendon --3-- to loosen the ring wedge.

For this purpose, between the anchor --11-- and anchor plate --16-- underlay rings --15-- can be provided, after removal of which the prestressing of the strand --3-- can be reduced accordingly, so that the strand subsequently, as already mentioned earlier, the ring wedge can be tensioned in sections, whereby a washer can be inserted between the surfaces 12 and 14. This manipulation could also be done using an adjusting nut. In this case, a thread would have to be provided on the outer wall --17-- of the anchor --11--, onto which, as shown in dashed lines, the adjusting nut --18-- would be screwed so that it would rest on the anchor plate - -16-- supports.

By turning the adjusting nut --18--, the tendon --3--, which can be rod-shaped as a strand or as a bundle of wires or strands, can be tensioned in sections.

Of course, various design modifications can be provided within the scope of the invention. So it is possible to provide several radially protruding, possibly star-shaped extensions or the like instead of a hat-shaped extension -5.

    PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Ring wedge for fixing tendons in an anchor, consisting of a slotted hollow cone or of several cone segments, the hollow cone or each cone segment having at least one radially outwardly projecting extension at its thicker end, characterized in that between the thicker end of the Hollow cone or each cone segment and the extension (5) a preferably extending after a cylindrical surface intermediate section (7) of predetermined height is provided, so that after the insertion of the wedge (1) in the armature (11) an annular space (12) between the Anchor (11) and the extension (5) remains.
