Vorrichtung zum Befestigen eines Schlauches in seiner Kupplungshülse.
Zur Beibehaltung des freien Schlauchquerschnittes bei der Verbindung zweier Schlauchenden (Verschraubung, Kupplung) wird der Schlauch in die auf den äusseren Durchmesser des Schiauches ausgebohrte Kupplungshülse eingeschoben und, wie bereits bekannt, mittels Messinghülse und Einwalzmaschine, welch letztere die Messinghülse samt Schlauch in vorgedrehte Rillen der Kupplungshülse presst, festgehalten.
Bei dieser Schlauchinnenbefestigung erhält der Schlauch an seiner Eintrittsstelle zwischen Kupplungs-und Messinghülse den gleichen Druck wie an seinem Ende und es ist, da die schwachen Messinghülsen ein Abrunden der Kanten nicht zulassen, das Zertrümmern des Schlauchgewebes schon während des Einwalzens, noch mehr aber eine frühzeitige Abnützung des Schlauches an seiner Eintrittsstelle zwischen den Hülsen im Gebrauche nicht ausgeschlossen.
Die Erfindung behebt diese Übelstände. In der Zeichnung stellt a den Schlauch, b die Kupplungshülse und c einen zylindrischen Kupferring dar ; dem Kupferring gegenüber ist die Kupplungshülse b mit einer gegen das Schlauchende zu sich verjüngenden Ausdrehung d versehen, in die der Schlauch a durch den aufgewalzten Kupferring c eingepresst wird.
Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, wird das Gewebe des Schlauches an der Eintrittsstelle zwischen Kupferring und Kupplungshülse infolge der grösseren Tiefe der Ausdrehung am wenigsten gedrückt, wogegen am anderen Ende des Ringes, wo die Ausdrehung am seichtesten ist, der Druck auf das 8chlauchgewehe am grössten ist.
