Fig. 3 zeigt schliesslich eine erfindungsgemässe Kolbenpresse.

In the drawings, the subject of the invention is shown in one embodiment, for example.
Fig. 1 illustrates a press die of the conventional type. In Fig. 2, a double-walled tube is shown in section, as it can be produced, for example, according to the invention. Finally, FIG. 3 shows a piston press according to the invention.

With this mouthpiece construction, the strand of material - 1 - is inevitably cut through over a large area on the one hand by the arms - 8 - and on the other hand by the suspension devices - 4, so that undesired textures occur in the finished double-walled tube.
A double-walled tube is shown, for example, in FIG. 2, and this figure shows the inner wall - 39 -, the outer wall 40 - and the large number of connecting webs --41 -.
In the construction according to the invention according to FIG. 3, the press cylinder is denoted by --51 - which has a cylindrical insert - 52 - which, with its outer surface --53-- together with the inner surface --54-- of the press cylinder - 51-- a cylinder space

arranged rods connected to a cross member -58- on which the piston rod -59- engages. At --61-- you can see an outer and at -62- an inner seal for the annular piston --56--. A lower ring-shaped plate is designated by --63 - in which the mouthpiece - of the press according to the invention is provided. In this mouthpiece, the

1Fill pieces for regulating the flow process from the annular space -55 into the mouthpiece --64-- are designated with -67 and 68-
Of course, instead of the mouthpieces-64- and the filler-pieces-67 and 68-, other mouthpiece constructions can also be used. In any case, the use of the annular piston according to Fig. 3 ensures a more even flow of the ceramic material through the outlet openings in the mouthpiece --64--.
The type of filling of the annular space --55-- below the annular piston --56-- is not shown in detail in Fig. 3. The filling can take place in a simple manner, for example, by removing the annular piston 56 and filling the annular space 55 with the plastic mass to be pressed.
In addition, the drawings do not show how the ceramic mass is vented or evacuated if this should prove to be necessary. This venting or evacuation is possible in a simple manner using conventional methods.
The invention shows that the cracks or cracks to be feared when using known presses, for example according to FIG. Texture formation does not occur. The reason for this is presumably that due to the central dead space created by the cylindrical insert, the mass flows into the mouthpiece in a precisely predetermined, directed and symmetrical manner.
