Connection clip for crossing or parallel wires.
The subject of the present invention is a releasable wire clip for the secure connection of parallel or crossing wires of any cross-section, which is particularly suitable for connecting the spiral springs to the bearing wires of the mattresses.
The clip is shown in the drawing, namely FIG. 1 shows a side view of the clip connecting the two wires to one another, FIGS. 2-4 front, rear and respectively. Top view of the construction according to FIG. 1, FIG. 5 the top view of the connection of a part of a spiral spring with the continuous wires, FIG. 6 the connection of four flat metal rods, FIG. 7 a section through the connection of the rods according to FIGS 8 shows the connection of three rods to form a stand front part.
Figures 9-11 show the use of the connector to join two parallel wires.
The two crossing wires a and b should be connected to each other at the crossing point. For this purpose the clamp c is used, which is bent from a piece of steel wire in such a way that it presses the two wires a and together when the other end, which is bent into a hook, is placed behind one of the wires. The clamp has three arches d, e, / at the end connecting the wires, of which the two arches d and f grasp over one wire b and the third e under the other wire a. The other end of the clamp ends in the hook li, which lies against the side of the wire a that faces away from the wire b.
A stop i is provided between the wire c and the hook 1l on the one hand for guidance, on the other hand in order not to overstretch its springiness when the clamp is applied. Due to its suspension, the clamp can also be used with wires of different thicknesses.
Home application of the clamp respectively. When it is removed, the end of the clamp remote from the point where the wires are bent comes into the dotted position in FIG. 1.
In the construction according to FIG. 5, the continuous wires or flat bars a of a mattress are connected to the spiral spring b by applying the clips c in the manner described above and which can be seen from the drawing. Through the
EMI1.1
one of the two brackets c is omitted.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 6 and 7, the round wires a and b are replaced by bars m and n made of flat iron or the like, in which case the ends e and h of the bracket c must be specially adapted to the cross section of the bars.
The tripod according to FIG. 5 shows how individual rods o can be connected to one another by means of brackets c without them being under a right one

To pay attention.
As mentioned above about crossing wires, the clamp can also be used to connect parallel wires by widening the curve e, which take up the position of the wire a, but then a short auxiliary wire o is used instead of the wire b ( see Fig. 8-11).
