EMI1.1
TV tables are already known which can be pivoted about a vertical axis on a stand.
The subject of the invention is a television shelf or the like, which enables the mounting of the support plate to be attached in a concealed manner and inaccessible to unauthorized persons.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the support plate is designed as a hollow prism which only has an opening on one narrow side into which the support bracket extends. The center of gravity of the hollow prism can be mounted on the console so that the change in position of the support plate can be carried out with the least amount of finger force.
The subject of the invention is further that the console is provided with two arms which are to be fastened to the room walls which meet in a corner or to a single wall. However, the console can also be arranged on a stand.
Pivotability of the shelf is preferably achieved in that a pin can be inserted into an eyelet of the console and carries a plate to which the support plate can be connected.
In the drawings, three example embodiments of the subject invention are shown, u. Between FIGS. 1 and 3 each show an axial section of the first two embodiments, while FIG. 2 shows a plan view of FIG. 1 and FIG. 4 shows a plan view of FIG. In Figs. 5 and 6, the third embodiment, u. between FIG. 5 in axial section and in FIG. 6 in plan view, brought to the representation.
In the first embodiment, the console-2-- has two arms that are attached to the two room walls that meet in a corner by means of screws --5--. According to the second embodiment, both arms of the console --3-- are attached to a single wall. In the third embodiment, a standing frame --10-- of a standing shelf is provided, which in its lower part carries fixed tables --11 and 12-.
In all three versions, the consoles --2 and 3-- or the stand frame --10- are each provided with an eyelet --6-- into which a pin --4-- can be inserted. A plate -7-- is attached to this

--7-- bearing pegs --4-- inserted into the eyelet --6-- connected.
As shown in FIGS. 2, 4 and 6, the shelf and thus also the television set placed on it can be pivoted around the axis of the pin --4-- in a larger angular range, so that it is possible to view the television images from any point of the room in question.
