Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel
Gegenstand der Anmeldung sind Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel mit insektizider Wirkung, deren aktiver Bestandteil 2-Dimethylaminophenyl-N-methylcarbamat ist.
Das erfindungsgemäss zu verwendende Carbaminsäure-Derivat zeichnet sich durch eine hervorragende Wirkung zur Bekämpfung pflanzenschädlicher Insekten, vor allen Dingen von Blattläusen, aus. Es übertrifft in dieser Hinsicht die bisher für diesen Zweck bekanntgewordenen Carbamate.
Die praktische Anwendung der erfindungsgemäss einzusetzenden Verbindungen geschieht auf prinzipiell bekannte Weise, d. h. in geeigneter Verdünnung mit festen oder flüssigen Streck-oder Verdünnungs- mitteln, wie z. B. Talkum, Kreide, Bentonite, Kieselgur u. dgl. Als flüssiges Verdünnungsmittel ist vor allem Wasser mit geeigneten Lösungshilfsmitteln, wie Aceton, Dimethylformamid, o-Dichlorbenzol u. dgl., geeignet, wobei die Mitverwendung von Emulgatoren meist wünschenswert ist. Als Emulgatoren haben sich vor allem Polyglykoläther von Phenolen bewährt.
Beispiel : Aus der folgenden Tabelle geht die Wirksamkeit des 2-Dimethylaminophenyl-N-methylcarbamats gegen Plutella maculipennis, Drosophila und Aphis fabae hervor. Die Raupenversuche wurden an Kohlblättern durchgeführt. Die Fliegenversuche wurden in geschlossenen Räumen unter üblichen Versuchsbedingungen durchgeführt und die Blattlauswerte wurden an Vitia faba (Buschbohnen) ermittelt.

Pesticides
The application relates to pesticides with an insecticidal effect, the active ingredient of which is 2-dimethylaminophenyl-N-methylcarbamate.
The carbamic acid derivative to be used according to the invention is distinguished by an excellent effect in combating insects which are harmful to plants, especially aphids. In this respect it exceeds the carbamates previously known for this purpose.
The compounds to be used according to the invention are used in practice in a manner known in principle, i. H. in suitable dilution with solid or liquid extenders or thinners, such as B. talc, chalk, bentonite, kieselguhr and. Like. As a liquid diluent, especially water with suitable solubilizers such as acetone, dimethylformamide, o-dichlorobenzene and the like. Like., Suitable, the use of emulsifiers is usually desirable. Polyglycol ethers of phenols in particular have proven useful as emulsifiers.
Example: The following table shows the effectiveness of 2-dimethylaminophenyl-N-methylcarbamate against Plutella maculipennis, Drosophila and Aphis fabae. The caterpillar experiments were carried out on cabbage leaves. The fly tests were carried out in closed rooms under the usual test conditions and the aphid values were determined on Vitia faba (French beans).
