Luftaustrittsvorrichtung

Air outlet device
The invention relates to an air outlet device with an essentially spherical body which is provided with a central air passage opening and which is rotatably mounted in all directions about its center point within a holding device which is guided in an axial direction between two limit positions in an annular seat, wherein in one limit position the holding device with the spherical body lies sealingly on the ring seat and when the holding device is moved into the other limit position an annular outer air passage with increasing width is formed.
In a device of this type, it is known to provide several air outlet openings. However, these openings are arranged in such a way that two separate partial flows arise which are not merged into one resultant end. In the known device, only the direction of the can
The partial flow passing through the spherical element can be set by pivoting the element, without a volume regulation being possible, while the flow exiting through the annular space into the space
Partial flow cannot be regulated in its direction, but only in its amount. With the known device it is therefore not possible to determine the direction and amount of the resulting air flow into the room as desired.
This disadvantage is avoided if, according to the invention, the holding device, which is axially displaceable on the ring seat, consists of several radial arms held together in the axis by a cap, which with circular edges encompass a hollow spherical zone, in the inner jacket of which at least three helically rising support surfaces are attached, in each of which one engages pin attached to the inside of a cover plate arranged opposite the larger edge of the hollow spherical zone, the cover plate being connected to the cap of the holding device by a tension element.
This configuration of a device of the type mentioned at the beginning makes it possible to combine oppositely directed partial flows that emerge from two passage openings so that the resulting air flow into the room can be determined as desired in terms of direction and amount. Both the amount of air and the opening angle of the air flow can be adjusted independently of each other. It is therefore possible, for example, to adjust the opening angle while keeping the amount of air escaping constant.
Air outlet devices are used to distribute the air exiting air ducts evenly and without drafts in air-conditioned rooms. In the device designed according to the invention, partial flows are branched off from a common air supply flow, of which a partial flow can exit between the hollow spherical zone and the ring seat and a further partial flow between the hollow spherical zone and the cover plate. The direction of the air flow resulting from the two partial flows can still be adjusted by pivoting the hollow sphere zone itself. A particular advantage of this device is that the exiting air can be set as desired as a long-range, straight, compact jet if the air is only blown out between the hollow spherical zone and the ring seat.
If air is only blown out between the hollow spherical zone and the cover plate, a veil is obtained that flows radially on all sides. By appropriately setting the two through openings and pivoting the hollow spherical zone itself, any direction of air flow into the room can be achieved.
In addition to the tension element, such. B. a spring, all components made of plastic. Furthermore, the cover plate is expediently provided with a device which can be brought into engagement with an adjusting rod for adjusting the holding device, for pivoting the hollow spherical zone and for rotating the cover plate.

Further features of the invention emerge from an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawings and explained in the following.
1 shows a side view and FIG. 2 shows a section through an air outlet device according to the invention. In Fig. 3, the interior view of an embodiment of a hollow spherical zone and in Fig. 4 is a vertical section through a hollow spherical zone, while Fig. 5 shows the development of the support surfaces, for. B. in groove form, containing part of the inner jacket of the hollow spherical zone shows. In Fig. 6, the entire air outlet device is shown in plan view. 7 and 8 show an arm of the holding device in side view and top view and FIG. 9 shows a cap guiding the arms of the holding device in a side section.
EMI2.1
The three-arm holding device - of which only two arms are shown in the drawing - is guided.
The arms 2 of the device are held together by a cap 3 at their inner end pieces 11. and also provided with two stops 2a, 2b each for the end positions of the device in the case of vertical displacement. The arms run in vertical grooves of the ring seat 4, which is attached to a space delimiting surface. A cover plate 5 with an eyelet 6 for the engagement of an adjusting rod for adjusting the air flow emerging from the air outlet device is connected to the cap 3 by means of a spring 7. In the example shown, the hollow sphere zone is in its upper end position, i. H. there is no gap between the zone and the ring seat and thus no air can flow into the room along the zone. The lower stops 2b of the holding device lie directly on the ring seat.
Since the cover plate 5 connected to the cap 3 by means of the spring 7 is in direct contact with the hollow spherical zone in the example, no air flow can escape in the radial direction either.
In Fig. 2 the holding device is in its lower end position, i. H. the arms rest with their upper stops 2a on the ring seat 4. The largest possible gap width is present between the ring seat and the spherical zone. On the inside of the cover plate, an eyelet 8 is attached to which the spring 7 is attached with one end. The spring is attached to the cap 3 at the other end. On the periphery of the inside of the cover plate, three pins 9 are offset by 1200, of which only one pin is shown in the drawing. Corresponding to the arrangement of the three pins, three helical grooves 10, in which the pins 9 engage, are provided as support surfaces in the inner surface of the spherical zone.
By turning the cover plate, the pegs are moved in the grooves and thereby the gap width between the cover plate and the zone is adjusted. The arrangement of the grooves 10 in the inner jacket go particularly in the inner view of the spherical zone 1 shown in FIG. 3 and the vertical section through the spherical zone shown in FIG. 4 and the development shown in FIG. 5 of that part of the inner jacket of the spherical zone which contains the grooves contains, out.
The top view of the device shown in FIG. 6 shows the holding device composed of three arms 2, the arms of which collide centrally with their end pieces 11, as well as the offset ring seat 4 and the hollow spherical zone 1.
In Fig. 7 and Fig. 8, an arm 2 of the holding device with its end piece 11 and the stops 2a, 2b is shown in a side view or in a plan view with the stop 2a and the end piece 11. FIG. 9 finally shows a section through the cap 3 holding the holding device together.
The components of the air outlet devices produced in series are assembled in the manner explained at the beginning. The fully assembled devices are then attached at the desired intervals in the ceiling or in the walls of the room to be ventilated. If desired, the air flow emerging from these devices can be adjusted in terms of quantity and direction from the room by adjusting the individual elements of the device. The holding device can be adjusted in the axial direction to adjust the gap between the spherical zone and the ring seat, the latter can also be rotated to adjust the gap width between the spherical zone and the cover plate and, finally, the spherical zone itself can be pivoted in the holding device to adjust the direction of the resulting air flow from the two partial flows will.
