Fig. 3 gibt teilweise den Schnitt
Fig. 1 zeigt die Trommel in Spreizstellung.

in particular to provide opposite surfaces with pocket-like recesses in which angle strips are guided. These should, however, connect the segments in a sealing manner so that in the spread position of the winding drum they form an outwardly sealing jacket for the coolant flowing through the inside of the drum. The type of drum and the task is therefore completely different from the subject matter of the invention in the known case. In the known case, the angle strips do not secure against being thrown off.
According to the invention, it is also expedient to have the closing strips at their rear ends
To provide flanges that carry V-ledges, which are covered by V-ledges of the step cores, which in turn are secured in the radial direction by means of projecting ledges in the drum body. For the
When assembling the winding drum, it has been found to be advantageous that the step cores are designed to be longitudinally divided.
Finally, according to the invention, it has a particularly advantageous effect on the service life of the winding drum that the segments on the inside are provided with several evenly deep recesses, spaced one behind the other, in each of which a wedge piece for the engagement of the associated striker - As is known per se, it is loosely inserted, which is formed by a partial length separated from a long wedge that is easy to manufacture. The worn wedge pieces can thus be easily replaced at any time and it is no longer necessary to use completely new segments after the wedge surfaces have worn out.
The details of the invention are set out below with reference to the drawing shown in FIGS. 1-4
Embodiment shows, explained in more detail. Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section A-B (Fig. 2) through the in
The drum located in a spread position, Fig. 2 shows the section C-D through Fig. 1. Fig. 3 partially shows the section
C-D again, with segments and closing strips drawn in the retracted state. In Fig. 4, the locking bar is shown in different views.
In the longitudinal bore 2 provided in the drum body 1 (FIG. 1), the adjusting bolt 3 is mounted so as to be axially displaceable. A flange 4 is seated on the adjusting bolt 3 and engages in recesses 5 which are made in the step cores 6, 7. The step cores 6, 7 are guided in slideways of the drum body 1 (FIGS. 2, 3), the divided step cores 7 having protruding strips 8 to secure against falling out. The step cores 6 have wedge lugs 9 which are supported against wedge pieces 10. These are loosely inserted into recesses 11 in the segments 12. Further pocket-like recesses 13 (Fig. 2 and 3) in the segments 12 are used to guide the correspondingly formed projections 14 of the
Closing strips 15. Wedge bars 16 are provided on the closing bars, which slide on wedge bars 17 of the step cores 7.
Fig. 1 shows the drum in the spread position. If the adjusting bolt 3 is displaced in the direction of the arrow 17, the step cores 6, 7 are also moved via the flange 4 relative to the segments 12 or the locking strips 15. This has the consequence that the closing strips 15 are moved radially towards the drum axis, and in the process take the segments 12 with them with their projections 14. The moving together of the segments is possible because the step cores 6 have also been moved in the direction of arrow 17. The inclination of the wedge lugs 9 and the wedge pieces 10 on the one hand and of the wedge strips 16 and 17 on the other hand is different because the adjustment path of the segments and that of the closing strips is different.
In order to spread the segments, the adjusting bolt 3 is moved in the opposite direction.
The segments 12 are moved radially via the wedge lugs 9 and the wedge pieces 10. The closing strips 15 are also moved outward by moving the step cores 7.
In the spread position (FIG. 2), the gap between the segments 12 is bridged by the closing strips 15, as is known per se. This, in conjunction with the projections 14, which are lubricated with a heat-resistant lubricant, keeps the dirt particles away from the inside of the drum.
