Rohrverbindung

Pipe connection
The invention relates to a pipe connection for smooth pipes.
Such pipe connections are already known which consist of a coupling piece with at least one pipe connection nipple, into which the pipe to be connected is inserted and secured by means of a clamping nut (union nut, screw nipple or the like) and with at least one frustoconical washer made of elastically deformable and plastically deformable material is clamped, which under axial pressure by the clamping piece is attached to the outer tube jacket and an inner cylinder surface of the
The coupling piece or the clamping piece is pressed radially and the pipe is clamped.
The sealing washer is preferably made of polyamide, super polyamide or the like, the lower modulus of elasticity of which ensures that the rings only offer little resistance to rotation about the cross-sectional axis, so that the axial force introduced has a toggle-like effect
Generates radial forces, which press the washer tightly against the outer pipe jacket and an inner cylinder surface of the coupling piece, so that a coupling frictional connection between the parts of the
Pipe connection comes about, which at the same time causes a complete seal of the pipe connection.
These known pipe connections fulfill their purpose at low and medium pressures in the pipeline.
However, it has been found that a reliable coupling that can withstand high pressures and significant pressure surges is ensured if, according to the invention, it admittedly reduces the following, per se known embodiments, into which the pipe can be inserted or to which the pipe can be placed, b) that in or on the coupling piece a clamping piece securing the pipe, such as a union nut, screw nipple or the like, is provided, c) that in the union nut or in the coupling piece At least one made of elastically deformable and plastically deformable material (polyamide, super polyamide or similar)
Like.) Manufactured, frustoconical annular disc is mounted, which is attached to the outer tube jacket and under axial pressure by the clamping piece. presses an inner cylindrical surface of the coupling piece or of the clamping piece radially and clamps the pipe, d) that the clamping piece has a sleeve-shaped extension firmly connected to it, which is designed as a known slotted clamping sleeve with an external cone and external thread, this clamping sleeve with a correspondingly shaped Clamping nut is screwable.
The pipe connection formed in this way represents a significant improvement of a pipe coupling of known design, in which the coupling with the omission of an additional tensioning device, is the coupling only by the expansion of a A plurality of elastically deformable annular disks is created, which are arranged in the annular space between the pipes to be coupled.
In the drawing, two different embodiments are shown, u. FIG. 1 shows a union nut with clamping sleeve in a central section and FIG. 2 shows a side view. 3 and 4 illustrate, in a central section, the union nut with sleeve or the clamping nut alone. FIG. 5 shows a central section through the pipe connection and FIG. 6 illustrates a pipe connection in which a screw nipple is used instead of a union nut.
