Das österr. Patent Nr. 198355 betrifft ein Verfahren zur Übertragung der Messwerte von p Messgeräten über eine einzige Leitung, bei welchem auf der Geberseite mittels eines p + l-phasigen Impulsgenerators eine Impulsreihe gebildet wird, wobei der erste Impuls der Reihe einen Normal- und Synchronisierimpuls grösserer Amplitude darstellt, während die tibrigen Impulse der Reihe den Messwerten der. einzelnenMessgeräte zugeordnet sind und die Grösse der Amplitude jeweils der Grösse des zugeordneten Messwertes entspricht, wobei empfängerseitig die Trennung der einzelnen Messgrössen mit Hilfe eines von den empfangenen Geberimpulsreihen synchronisierten p + 1-phasigen gleichgearteten Impulsgenerators

Hiebei geben die einzelnen Messgeräte eine dem jeweiligen Messwert proportionale Gleichspannung ab, mittels welcher die zugeordneten Impulse mit Ausnahme des Synchronisierimpulses amplitudenmoduliert werden.
Dieses Verfahren besitzt den Nachteil, dass Dämpfungsänderungen des Fernsprechkabels, z. B. Widerstandsänderungen zwischen Sommer- und Winterbetrieb, in die Messwertanzeigen eingehen.
Die Zusatzerfindung betrifft eine Weiterentwicklung des beschriebenen Verfahrens und ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf der Geberseite dem Synchronisierimpuls eine von einem eigenen Eichmessgerät stammende konstante Amplitude gegeben wird, wobei empfängerseitig die Amplitude des zeitlich aussortierten Synchronisierimpulses mit einer konstanten Normalspannung verglichen und die ankommende Impulsreihe so weit verstärkt wird, bis die Amplitude des Synchronisierimpulses der Grösse der Normalspannung entspricht.
Da die Messimpulse zumindest innerhalb einer Übertragungsperiode denselben Einflüssen wie der Synchronisierimpuls ausgesetzt sind, ist der angegebene Nachteil durch die Zusatzerfindung beseitigt.
