Gepäckträgerteile vorne in Druckkräfte und hinten in Zugkräfte aufgeteilt, wobei auch die Kupplungsmittel diesen Belastungsfällen Rechnung tragen und vorne druckübertragend, hinten aber zug- übertragend wirken.
Zudem zeichnet sich das Ergänzungsgerät durch einfache Bauart, leichtes Gewicht und billige Herstellung aus, so dass alle Erfordernisse erfüllt erscheinen, die von einem idealen Ergänzungsgerät verlangt werden müssen.
Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung in schaubildlicher Ansicht, u. zw.
Fig. 1 den Kindersitz, zusammengebaut aus einem Gepäckträger und einem Ergänzungsgerät, Fig. 2 das Ergänzungsgerät an sich und Fig 3 den Gepäckträger an sich.
1 ist die Tragfläche des Gepäckträgers a, die von Streben 2 und Tragschienen 5 getragen ist.
Die Streben 2 sind an ihrem Ende mit Gabeln 3 ausgestattet, während die Tragschienen 5 an ihrem oberen Ende Einhängehaken 6 bilden und an den unteren Enden nahe den Gabeln 3 mit den Streben 2 verbunden sind. Mittels der
Teile 3 und 6 erfolgt die Befestigung des Gepäck- trägers am Fahrrad, u. zw. an der Vorderradgabel und an der Lenkstange.
Das Ergänzungsgerät b (Fig. 2) besteht aus einem U-förmigen Rahmen 10, dessen an den
Mittelteil 10'sich anschliessenden Stücke der
Schenkel 10"durch Querstäbe 11 zu einem Fuss- abstützrost verbunden sind. Die Schenkel 10" sind bei 12 abgewinkelt ; zu beiden Seiten dieser
Abwinkelung sind Schlitze 13 zum Durchstecken eines Halteriemens vorgesehen. Die Ab- winkelung 12 ist stumpfwinkelig ausgebildet, sc dass bei annähernd paralleler Lage der die Arm- stützen des Kindersitzes bildenden Schenkel- stücke zur Tragfläche 1 des Gepäckträgers, die

unteren Schenkelstücke schräg zur Tragfläche 1 und nach vorne verlaufen. Der Rahmen 10 und die Querstäbe 11 bestehen vorliegend aus Flacheisen.
Zur Verbindung des Ergänzungsgerätes b mit dem Gepäckträger a ist ersteres mit Einsteckzapfen 14 und mit Einhängehaken 15 ausgestattet.
Erstere können in die beiden Ecken des Tragflächenrahmens 1 vom Gepäckträger vor Plättchen 17 eingesteckt werden und stellen in Anpassung an die Druckbelastung der Streben 2 druckübertragende Kupplungsmittel dar. Durch die Haken 15 ist das Ergänzungsgerät mit den Tragschienen 5 verhängbar. Letztere können zur Sicherung dieser Verbindung noch mit Hilfshaken 16 versehen sein. Die Haken 15 stellen in Anpassung an die Zugbelastung der Tragschienen 5 zugübertragende Kupplungsmittel dar.
Bei Verwendung des Gepäckträgers als Kindersitz sind die Teile a und b in der aus Fig. l ersichtlichen Weise miteinander vereinigt. Zur Verwendung des Gepäckträgers für sich ist es nur erforderlich, das Ergänzungsgerät b abzunehmen, was dank der eigenartigen Ausbildung und Anordnung der Kupplungsmittel ohne Verwendung eines Werkzeuges rasch und leicht durchgeführt werden kann.

When using the luggage rack as a child seat, parts a and b are combined with one another in the manner shown in FIG. To use the luggage rack by itself, it is only necessary to remove the supplementary device b, which, thanks to the peculiar design and arrangement of the coupling means, can be carried out quickly and easily without the use of a tool.
