[0009] In den Figuren sind Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung dargestellt. Darin zeigen [0010] Fig. 1 [0011] Fig. 2 [0012] Fig. 3 eine perspektivische Ansicht eines erfindungsgemäßen Fugenverschlussbandes; eine Draufsicht des Fugenverschlussbandes aus Fig. 1;

Fig. 6.

Description: The invention relates to a water-permeable joint sealing tape for protection against the falling through of small parts for joints on wooden terraces and wood-based boards in the outdoor area.
It is currently state of the art that longitudinal and transverse joints of wooden decking boards as well as floorboards made of wood-based materials are to be carried out openly. Depending on the material and laying technology, these open joints are between 5 and 7 mm. These open joints are technically necessary because they have to absorb the longitudinal and transverse expansion of the planks and also ensure that these components are ventilated.
Furthermore, these open joints cause dewatering of moisture from the terrace surface into the ground.
However, open joints have considerable disadvantages. The entry of vermin into the space below the decking against the ground is possible without restriction. All objects of an order of magnitude below the joint width fall between the planks in the inaccessible underground under the terrace. To make this problem even more difficult, these decking boards are increasingly being laid without visible screwing. Although this increases the durability of the planks, it is practically only possible to access the area below the planks by completely dismantling the terrace.
AT 5920 U2 shows a sealing solution for wooden planks to be laid outdoors. Joint sealing profiles are inserted between artificially dried wooden planks. After laying, the planks expand due to moisture absorption and the profiles seal the joints between the planks dust-tight.
The invention is said to be that on the one hand the open butt joint is retained in terms of its thermal-hygric necessity, but on the other hand a mechanical closure of the joints is achieved, which largely prevents the falling through of small objects and the entry of vermin.
The object of the invention is to introduce such a joint closure as part of the terrace laying but also retrospectively in existing terraces in a simple manner.
[0008] This object is achieved by a joint sealing tape according to claim 1. The object is achieved according to the invention by inserting joint tapes which are fixed in their position in the joint by their clamping action or other mechanical means. The design ensures that surface water flows into the subsurface and beyond that there is no capillary action on the clamping flank against the wood.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the figures. 1 [0011] FIG. 2 [0012] FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of a joint sealing tape according to the invention; a plan view of the joint sealing tape from Fig. 1;

Patentamt. Fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view of a joint sealing tape along the line CC in
Fig. 6, and Fig. 8 is a longitudinal view of a joint sealing tape in the direction of line DD in
Fig. 6.
Is shown a joint sealing tape 1, 4 with ventilation for joints 2 of wooden terraces and wood-based floorboards 3 in the outdoor area, characterized in that an extensive drainage of water from the terrace surface is possible by suitable choice of the geometry and not drying out from the substrate is significantly affected. The flank formation between joint tape 1, 4 and wooden sidewalls is designed so that there is no capillary effect. The purpose of joint closure 1, 4 is to prevent insects from penetrating into the terrace surface and to prevent the loss of small objects through joint 2.
According to a first exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 1 to 4, this is done by wave-shaped formation of a plastic strip 1. On the one hand, the clamping effect required for fixing is achieved (slight excess compared to the joint width d) and, on the other hand, there is only a linear contact of the board elements 3 .
In a second variant according to FIGS. 5 to 8, a geometry of a joint sealing tape 4 is selected, which ensures the clamping effect by means of a V-shaped design and the avoidance of capillarity by knobs 6 on the flanks 5. The drainage is through openings 7 on "Joint tape base" of the element guaranteed.
