Method and device for foam-free filling and closing of bottles and the like. like
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
EMI2.1
Pressure cap of the spring plate, 22, 23 the cam housing, 24 a counter ring for the housing, 25 a union nut, 26 the outer roller bearing ring, 27 the roller bearing elements, 28 the cam itself, 29 the cam axis, 30 the cam actuating lever, 31 the locking plate, 32 the bottle , 33 bottle plate, 34 spring housing for the bottle plate, 35 the spring, 36 spring plate pin, 37 spring plate carrier and 38 the lock nut.
The air outflow opening 11 in the filling chamber 9 is controlled by the sealing head 17; by blocking it, the flow of liquid into the chamber and thus the filling is terminated. This device is important because it enables the filling to be controlled easily without having to shut off the flow of liquid, through which the fluid in the filling chamber before it is closed
EMI2.2
The fixed stop 10 in the filling housing 16 absorbs the supporting pressure required for closing and enables the bottles to be closed without exerting any pressure other than the closing pressure on the bottle. The support plate 33 located under the bottle has the spring system 35, which aims to press the closure plate against the bottle mouth and enables the bottle and the closure head to be pressed down until it reaches the stop 10 in the filling space 9. The purpose of displacing the residual liquid from the filling chamber 9 and closing the bottle is the cam 28 which carries the roller bearing elements 27 on its circumference and acts on the closure head 17 (or, if the filler housing is movable, acts on it).
As a result of the roller bearing elements 27, the lowest possible friction is achieved with the high locking pressures that occur and thus easy handling of the device.
The method is carried out in the following way: the closure capsule 37 is manually inserted into the open filling housing, u. zw. Introduced into the closing head from below, then the bottle 32 is inserted into the filling housing and the support plate 33 is then brought under the bottle. The sealing device is now operated by screwing the internally threaded part 14 onto the corresponding externally threaded filling housing 16 by turning the lever 15, thereby compressing the rubber ring 12, which seals the bottle downwards.
-The control valve 7, which is not described in detail, is closed when its lever 8 is in the upper position, i. H. all lines passing through it and controlled, such as air return line a, liquid supply line b, and line c-a, which convey the same pressure between filling space 9 and pressure vessel 1, are blocked. If the lever 8 is now moved downwards, the control valve connects the lines a and b with one another in the first part of its movement, whereby the same pressure is produced in the filling chamber 9 and in the pressure vessel 1 (pressure equalization). When the lever 8 continues to move, a pump 6 coupled to the lever 8 pushes any admixing liquid through the line e into the injector 2, 3, 4.
In the last part of the movement of the control valve, on the one hand, the air line a, c from the pressure vessel 1, and, on the other hand, the inflow line b ′, b, d is connected to the filling space 9. This position is the filling position. When the bottle is full, the downward movement of the lever 30 or the closure head 17 closes the air outlet opening through the closure head 17, which is usually designed as a piston, whereby the liquid flow into the filling chamber, since the air can no longer escape, through the line d interrupted and the filling of the bottle is finished. With the further downward movement of the closure head 17, the closure plate is pressed against the bottle mouth.
Subsequently, through the further downward movement of the closure head, the bottle including the spring plate 33, 34 is moved downwards, u. betw. shifted until the stop 10 is reached in the filling housing, whereby at the same time the liquid in the filling chamber 9 is returned to the liquid supply line d, b, b '

pressed together and thus the metal part of the cap is pressed into the groove of the bottle head and the bottle is closed. The lever 8 is then pushed up into its initial position, the liquid supply b ', b, d is blocked, and the locking lever 30 is also reset.
By loosening the bottle clamping device and removing (swiveling away) the bottle plate, the bottle can now be removed from the filling apparatus in a closed state.
According to the invention, the device for carrying out the method can also be designed in such a way that the closure head is fixed and the filling chamber as well as the bottle carrier and plate are movable.
