Stielbefestigung für Besen, Bürsten und ähnliche Geräte.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Stielhalter zur sicheren Befestigung von Stielen an Besen, Bürsten und ähnlichen Geräten.
In der Zeichnung ist beispielsweise eine Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt.
Fig. 1 zeigt im Aufriss die Hülse, Fig. 2 ist ein Seitenriss dazu, Fig. 3 ist die Ansicht eines mit der Hülse an der Bürste befestigten Stieles.
Die federnde Hülse 1 ist aus widerstandsfähigem, möglichst nicht oxydierendem Metall angefertigt in der Form eines aufgeschlitzte Kegelstumpfes mit Stossfuge 8. An ihrem oberen Ende weist sie ein Verstärkungsband 2 auf, dessen Enden zu Lappen umgebogen und mit Löchern versehen sind zwecks Aufnahme einer Zugschraube 3, deren Flügelmutter angezogen wird, um die Hülse 1 dem Stiel 7 fest anzupassen. Die Schraube 3 ist durch ein Vierkant gegen Drehen gesichert. Am unteren Ende weist die Hülse 1 ausser dem durchgehenden Längsschlitz 8 noch einen auf einer Seite mit ihr fest verbundenen, diametral angeordneten und in der Längsachse stehenden Keil 4 auf, dessen Schneide nach dem Hülseninnern zu steht.
Der Hülsenteil, der im Befestigungsloch der Bürste 6 Platz findet, ist an seinem äusseren Umfang mit Zacken 5 versehen, die zweckmässigerweise durch Ausstanzen aus dem Hülsenmaterial selbst hergestellt werden.
Soll nun z. B. ein Stiel 7 an einer Bürste festgemacht werden, so wird die Hülse in das Bürstenloch eingeführt und der Stiel 7 in die Hülse. Zweckmässigerweise ist das Ende des Stieles leicht kegelig zugespitzt. Durch Hammerschläge oder durch Aufstossen des andern Stielendes gegen einen festen Körper kann daraufhin der Stiel in die Hülse eingetrieben werden bis sein Ende nahezu den Grund des Bürstenloches erreicht hat, wobei einerseits die leicht kegelige Hülse insbesondere am unteren Ende aufgetrieben wird und mit den dort angebrachten Zacken sich ins Bürstenholz eindrückt, während anderseits der Keil 4 in das Stirnende des Stieles eindringt und das Auftreiben der Hülse unterstützt.
Hierauf genügt es, die Flügelmutter 3 kräftig anzuziehen, und der Stiel sitzt fest und unbeweglich an der Bürste, kann aber jederzeit leicht wieder entfernt werden.

The subject of the invention is a handle holder for the secure attachment of handles to brooms, brushes and similar devices.
In the drawing, for example, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown.
Fig. 1 shows the sleeve in elevation, Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof, Fig. 3 is a view of a handle attached to the brush with the sleeve.
The resilient sleeve 1 is made of resistant, if possible non-oxidizing metal in the form of a slit truncated cone with butt joint 8. At its upper end, it has a reinforcing band 2, the ends of which are bent into tabs and provided with holes for the purpose of receiving a tension screw 3, whose wing nut is tightened in order to adapt the sleeve 1 to the handle 7 firmly. The screw 3 is secured against turning by a square. At the lower end, the sleeve 1 has, in addition to the continuous longitudinal slot 8, a wedge 4 firmly connected to it on one side, diametrically arranged and located in the longitudinal axis, the cutting edge of which faces the inside of the sleeve.
The sleeve part, which is located in the attachment hole of the brush 6, is provided on its outer circumference with prongs 5, which are expediently produced by punching out of the sleeve material itself.
Should z. B. a handle 7 are attached to a brush, the sleeve is inserted into the brush hole and the handle 7 in the sleeve. The end of the handle is expediently slightly tapered. By hammering or pushing the other end of the handle against a solid body, the handle can then be driven into the sleeve until its end has almost reached the bottom of the brush hole, on the one hand the slightly conical sleeve, especially at the lower end, is driven up and with the prongs attached there is pressed into the brush wood, while on the other hand the wedge 4 penetrates the front end of the handle and supports the expansion of the sleeve.
It is then sufficient to tighten the wing nut 3 vigorously, and the handle sits firmly and immovably on the brush, but can easily be removed again at any time.
