Skikantensehutz.
Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Skikantenschutz. Es ist bereits ein Kantenschutz bekannt, der durch einen von der Skikante schräg ins Innere des Laufholzes sich erstreckenden Metall- streifen gebildet ist. Da dieser Kantenschutz aus einem Stück und das Wesen der Befestigungsorgane in einer selbsttätigen Verspreizung und Verklemmung des Kantenschutzes besteht, wurden die Skier versteift und es entstanden Spannungen, die unter Umständen ein Herausreissen des Kantenschutzes zur Folge hatten.
Gemäss vorliegender Erfindung besteht der Kantenschutz aus Teilstücken, deren Enden schief- winkelig abgeschrägt sind, wobei die Befestigung in an sich bekannter Weise durch von der Seite ins
Laufholz eingetriebene Stahlstifte bewirkt wird, die durch im Kantenschutz vorgesehene Langlöcher gehen.
In den beiliegenden Zeichnungen ist der Gegenstand der Erfindung in einem Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt. Fig. 1 zeigt einen Querschnitt durch einen Ski, welcher gemäss der Erfindung mit dem Kanten- schutz versehen ist. Fig. 2 zeigt das Schaubild eines Skistückes mit einem eingelassenen Kantenschutz- teilstück, bei dem auch die Befestigungsorgane klar ersichtlich sind. Fig. 3 stellt eine Stossstelle zweier
Kantenstücke dar.
In Fig. 1 ist a das Skiholz, b der Kantenschutz und c zeigt die Befestigungsstifte. In Fig. 2 zeigt d die Nut in die die Kante eingelassen wird. In Fig. 2 und 3 stellen e die Langlöcher dar und in Fig. 3 be- zeichnet feine Stossstelle zweier Kantenteilstücke.
Der Kantenschutz a wird vorteilhaft aus einem Messing-oder Aluminiumband von der Breite 7 mm und der Stärke 2 mm hergestellt, u. zw. in Teilstücken, die an den Enden abgeschrägt sind, so dass jedes
Teilstück die Form eines schiefwinkeligen Parallelogramms aufweist. Ferner ist jedes Teilstück zum
Zwecke der Befestigung mit mehreren Langlöchern versehen.
Die Befestigung des Kantenschutzes im Skiholz geschieht auf folgende Weise :

Durch die schiefwinkelige Parallelogrammform der Teilstücke wird einem Heben oder Senken derselben an den Stossstellen entgegengewirkt und die Einheitlichkeit der Laufkante gewährleistet.
