Hosenknopfbefestigung.
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf jene Hosenknopfbefestigungen, bei welchen die Knopfscheibe auf einem mit Nählöchern versehenen Grundplättchen befestigt ist, und besteht darin, dass das Grundplättchen
Randlappen aufweist, die nach seiner Befestigung am Hosenstoff durch Umbördelung der Randlappen einerseits die Nählöcher verdecken und anderseits die über dem Grundplättchen liegenden Nahtstellen festklemmen. Weitere Kennzeichen der Erfindung liegen in einer besonderen Ausbildung der Grund- plättchen der Hosenknöpfe.
Bei den bisher bekannten gewöhnlichen Hosenknöpfen sowie auch solchen mit Grundplättehen zeigt sich der Nachteil, dass durch die auf die Knöpfe einwirkenden Kräfte die Zwirnsfäden an den Loch- kanten nach kurzer Zeit durchgerieben sind, was ein Abfallen des Knopfes bewirkt. Durch die Erfindung soll dieser Nachteil beseitigt werden, indem die auf dem Grundplättchen liegenden, von einem Nähloch zum andern führenden Zwirnsfäden durch die auf die Grundplatte niedergebogenen Randlappen des
Grundplättchens abgedeckt und damit festgeklemmt werden, so dass bei den verschiedensten Knopf- beanspruchungen ein Abscheuern des Garnes vermieden ist.
Ausserdem erfolgt eine vollständige Abdeckung der Nählöcher und sichtbaren Nahtstellen, wodurch jede Zwirngarngattung ohne Rücksicht auf die Farbe verwendet werden kann.

Querschnitt eines unterlagsplättchens mit Randlappen, Fig. 5 und 6 Querschnitte durch einen Hosenknopf, wobei nach ersterer Grund-und Unterlagsplättehen lösbar miteinander und nach letzterer beide dauernd fest miteinander verbunden sind, Fig. 7 und 8 Draufsichten auf einen festgenähten Hosenknopf, wobei in einem Fall die Randlappen offen, im andern Fall eingebördelt liegen.
Mit 1 ist die Knopfscheibe, mit 2 der Hals und mit 3 das Grundplättchen mit den Nählöchern 4 bezeichnet. Ein dem Grundplättchen 3 entsprechend ausgebildetes und mit Nählöchern 4 a versehenes dünnes Unterlagsplättehen 5 (Fig. 3,4) weist Randlappen 6 auf. Das Unterlagsplättchen 5 kann, wie Fig. 4,5 zeigen, mittels seiner Ausnehmung 5 a durch einen Ansatz 3 a des Grundplättehens. 3 mit dem Grundplättchen 3 lösbar befestigt werden oder, wie in Fig. 6 dargestellt, durch Vernietung dauernd fest verbunden sein. Die Randlappen 6 werden, nachdem das Grundplättchen 3 des Knopfes samt dem Unter- lagsplättchen 5 auf dem Hosenstoff H festgenäht ist (s.
Fig. 7), um die Kanten des Grundplättchens 3 vorzugsweise mit einem zangenartigen Werkzeug od. dgl. umgebördelt, d. h. auf das Grundplättchen niedergebogen, so dass die über dem Grundplättchen von einem Nähloch zum andern führenden Garnteile N verdeckt werden.
Die Form der Grund- und Unterlagsplättchen kann naturgemäss verschieden sein. Vorzuziehen sind regelmässige Vieleckformen, da bei diesen nach Umbördelung der Randlappen eine gegenseitige Verdrehung unmöglich ist. Ebenso kann auch das Grundplättchen selbst die Randlappen tragen. Um aber ein leichtes Einbördeln der Randlappen ohne Schädigung der Grundplättchenform zu erzielen, ist die Verwendung dünner Unterlagsplättchen, die mit Lappen versehen sind, vorzuziehen.

The button disc is designated with 1, the neck with 2 and the base plate with the sewing holes 4 with 3. A thin base plate 5 (FIGS. 3, 4), designed correspondingly to the base plate 3 and provided with sewing holes 4 a, has edge tabs 6. The washer plate 5 can, as shown in FIG. 4, 5, by means of its recess 5 a through an attachment 3 a of the base plate. 3 can be releasably attached to the base plate 3 or, as shown in FIG. 6, be permanently connected by riveting. The edge flaps 6 are sewn after the base plate 3 of the button together with the underlay plate 5 has been sewn onto the trouser fabric H (see Fig.

The shape of the base and base plates can naturally be different. Regular polygonal shapes are to be preferred, since mutual rotation is impossible with these after flanging the edge tabs.
