Ansehnallbares Hufeisen fiir Ein-und Zweihufer.
Die Erfindung betrifft ein ansehnallbares Hufeisen für Ein-und Zweihufer mit mehreren, an einer die ganze Trittfläehe des Hufes bedeckenden Trittplatte verstellbaren, das Festhalten des Eisens am Huf bewirkenden Spannbacken. Bei den bekannten derartigen Hufeisen tritt der Nachteil auf, dass die vorne und hinten an die Hnfwand anliegenden Spannbaeken nicht starr genug sind und vom ziehenden Tier gelockert werden.
Gemäss der Erfindung wird dieser Nachteil dadurch beseitigt, dass die Trittplatte rückwärts aufgebogene, als starre Widerlager dienende Lappen aufweist, gegen welche sich der Huf des Tieres während des Ziehens nach hinten abstützt. Dadurch werden die verstellbaren Spannbacken entlastet, wodurch ein selbsttätiges Lockern des Hufes verhindert wird.
In der Zeichnung ist der Gegenstand der Erfindung in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform in Fig. 1 im Aufriss und in Fig. 2 schaubildlich dargestellt.
Das Hufeisen besteht aus einer an der Unterseite mit Stollen 2 versehenen Trittplatte 1, welche die ganze Trittfläehe des Hufes bedeckt. An der Oberseite der Trittplatte 1 sind in Nuten. 3 verstellbare Spannbacken 5 gelagert, welche mittels durch Langsehlitze 4 der Trittplatte 1 ragende Schrauben 8 an letzterer in der eingestellten Lage feststellbar sind. Den an der Vorderkante der Trittplatte angeordneten Spannbacken stehen am hinteren Ende der Trittplatte angeordnete Widerlager gegenüber, welche zweckmässig aus einem oder mehreren aufgebogenen Lappen 9 der Trittplatte bestehen, die entsprechend der Form des Hufes schwach nach hinten geneigt sind. Die Spannbacken 5 und die Lappen 9 sind mit je einer Öse 6 für je eine Riemenlasehe 7 ausgestattet.
Die Riemenlaschen 7 sind an einem den Huf vollkommen umfassenden Spannriemen 10 befestigt, der mittels einer Schnalle oder einem an sich bekannten Spannverschluss gespannt wird.
Das Hufeisen wird beim Anlegen mit seinen Lappen 9 hinten an den Huf fest angehalten und durch Heransehieben der Spannbacken J an die Hufwand der Form des Hufes angepasst. Die am Huf fest anliegenden Spannbacken 5 werden hierauf mittels der an der Unterseite der Trittplatte vorgesehenen Muttern in der eingestellten Lage festgestellt, so dass das Hufeisen am Huf unverrückbar festsitzt. Das Hufeisen wird nun durch Festziehen des den Huf vollständig umfassenden Spannriemens 10 in der Ge- brauchslage am Huf gegen Lockern gesichert.

The invention relates to a handsome horseshoe for single- and double-hoofed animals with several adjustable clamping jaws which hold the iron on the hoof and which are adjustable on a tread plate that covers the entire tread surface of the hoof. In the case of the known horseshoes of this type, the disadvantage arises that the clamping brackets resting against the front and rear walls are not rigid enough and are loosened by the pulling animal.
According to the invention, this disadvantage is eliminated in that the step plate has flaps which are bent backwards and serve as rigid abutments, against which the animal's hoof is supported during the pulling backwards. This relieves the load on the adjustable clamping jaws, which prevents the hoof from loosening automatically.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in FIG. 1 in elevation and in FIG. 2 diagrammatically.
The horseshoe consists of a tread plate 1 which is provided with cleats 2 on the underside and which covers the entire tread surface of the hoof. On the top of the step plate 1 are in grooves. 3 adjustable clamping jaws 5 mounted, which can be fixed in the set position by means of screws 8 protruding through longitudinal braid 4 of the step plate 1 on the latter. The clamping jaws arranged on the front edge of the step plate are opposed by abutments arranged at the rear end of the step plate, which expediently consist of one or more bent tabs 9 of the step plate, which are slightly inclined backwards according to the shape of the hoof. The clamping jaws 5 and the tabs 9 are each equipped with an eyelet 6 for one strap strap 7 each.
The strap tabs 7 are attached to a tensioning strap 10 which completely surrounds the hoof and which is tensioned by means of a buckle or a tension lock known per se.
The horseshoe is held firmly at the rear of the hoof with its flaps 9 when it is put on and adapted to the shape of the hoof by pushing the clamping jaws J up to the hoof wall. The clamping jaws 5 resting firmly on the hoof are then fixed in the set position by means of the nuts provided on the underside of the step plate, so that the horseshoe is immovable on the hoof. The horseshoe is now secured against loosening on the hoof in the position of use by tightening the tensioning strap 10 that completely encompasses the hoof.
