   Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gemüsehobel und besteht darin, dass an einer freien Kante seiner Führungsplatte eine zum Aufschneiden und Spalten von Tomaten dienende Säge angeordnet ist. Die Tomaten, welche bekanntlich eine starke und zähe äussere Fruchtschale besitzen, lassen sich am besten durch eine sägezahnartig ausgebildete Schneidvorrichtung spalten. Durch deren Vereinigung mit einem Gemüsehobel wird unter Steigerung der Verwendbarkeit dieses Gerätes von dessen Führungsplatte eine sonst keine Funktion erfüllende Kante zu einem Arbeitsvorgang herangezogen. 



   Der Gegenstand der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung an einem Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt.
