Die Fig. 1 zeigt eine einsitzige Schulbank im Längsschnitt und die Fig. 2 stellt einen mit der Massteilung versehenen Ständer dar.
Das Pult 1 und der Sitz 2 der Schulbank ruhen auf je einem Ständer, welche auf einer gemeinsamen Grundplatte 3 befestigt sind. Die Ständer bestehen aus zwei ineinander verschiebbaren Rohren 4, 5.
Während das äussere Rohr 4 jedes Ständers unter Zwischenschaltung eines Flansches 6 an der Unterseite des Pultes oder Sitzes mit leicht lösbaren Schrauben od. dgl. angebracht ist, ist das innere Rohr 5 mit einem Flansch 1 in der gleichen Weise auf der Grundplatte 3 befestigt. Die ineinander verschiebbaren Rohre 4 und 5 jedes Ständers sind durch je eine Schraube 8 aneinander gegen Drehung gesichert und in jeder Einstellung zueinander feststellbar. Die Schraube 8 lagert zu diesem Behufe in Bohrungen des Aussenrohres 4 und greift in Langschlitz 9 des Innenrohres 5 ein. Innerhalb des Rohres 5 ist die Schraube mit einem Abstandrohr 10 ausgestattet, welches der als Handrad ausgebildeten Mutter 11 als Widerlager zum Festklemmen der Rohre 4 und 5 eines Ständers dient.
Das Pult wie auch der Sitz können auf diese Weise innerhalb der durch die Länge der Rohre 4 und 5 gegebenen Grenzen leicht auf die jeweils erforderliche Höhe eingestellt bzw. nachgestellt werden.
