Die Erfindung kennzeichnet sich gegenüber dem bereits gebräuchlichen Skikantenschutz dadurch : dass die Laufkante, die aus Duralumin hergestellt ist, in einem Stück von der Spitze des Ski bis an das Ende reicht, wodurch ein Verlieren oder Aufbiegen einzelner Teile nicht möglich ist und die Schaufel (Skispitze) bei eventuellem Bruch nicht verlorengehen kann, da sie durch den Metallstreifen am Ski festgehalten wird.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der Zeichnung in Fig. 1 in Draufsicht und in Fig. 2 im Schnitt dargestellt.
Befestigt ist die um ihre Dicke versenkte Laufkante im Skiholz seitlich aussen und unten, u. zw. aussen mittels in der Längsrichtung aufstehender Lappen c, welche auch in das Holz versenkt und mit Schrauben festgehalten werden, und unten durch Zinken d, die schräg in das Holz eingetrieben werden.
Durch das Vorführen des Beschlages bis zur Spitze werden die meist beanspruchten Teile des Ski, die Schaufelkanten, auch vor Abnutzung geschützt. Durch die seitliche Befestigung ist die Lauf- fläche des Beschlages ohne jede Unterbrechung, somit ist kein Widerstand gegeben und ein einfaches Wachsen der ganzen Lauffläche mit der Hand ermöglicht.
Bekanntlich hat der Ski in der Längsrichtung in der Mitte eine tiefere Rinne im Holz, welche dem Ski im Schnee die Führung gibt, jedoch auf Eis und Harsch versagt. Diese Führung geben bei vorliegender Erfindung die zwei scharfkantigen Längsrillen in der Lauffläche des Beschlages. Dadurch ist das ermüdende Flattern und Auseinandergehen der Ski verhindert, jedoch wird eine beabsichtigte Richtungsänderung nicht behindert.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Ski mit durch Metallstreifen gebildetem, an der Lauffläche seitlich angebrachtem Beschlag, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass derselbe aus einem Stück besteht, durchgehend von der Spitze bis ans Ende reicht und nach oben stehende Lappen besitzt, mittels deren er durch Schrauben an den Seitenflächen des Laufholzes festgehalten wird, wobei die an der Innenseite der Streifen angeordneten Zinken schräg in das Skiholz eindringen.
