Sitz- und Liegemöbel, welcher an seinem Drehzapfen der Länge nach geführt ist und mit einer Nase wahlweise in eine von mehreren Rasten einschnappt, und besteht darin, dass er unter der Wirkung einer Feder steht, welche ihn mit der Nase in die Rasten eindrückt.
Auf der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform dargestellt. Es zeigt Fig. 1 die Draufsicht. Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt durch die Leiste. Fig. 3 das Schaubild.

Innerhalb der Ausnehmung 6 ist eine Anzahl von Rasten 76 in der Platte J vorgesehen, in welche Rasten die Spitze der Leiste 8 wahlweise einspringt. Die Rasten sind an derjenigen Stelle, welche dem Belastungsdruck ausgesetzt ist, gerade ausgebildet, desgleichen die korrespondierende Stelle der Leiste, während die gegenüberliegende Fläche der Raste und die korrespondierende Stelle der Leiste bogige Gestalt besitzt.
Diese Formgebung bedingt, dass die Belastung mit Sicherheit von der Raste aufgenommen und ausgehalten wird, eine Drehung in der andern Richtung aber z. B. beim Hochheben der Fussstütze mit Leichtigkeit und ohne Widerstand stattfinden kann. Der Winkel 4 wird mit seinem horizontalen Teil in einen
