Relays, in particular for low-voltage purposes.
The invention relates to relays, in particular for low-current purposes, with a plurality of magnetic cores and armatures serving as current conductors.
The object of the invention is to create an inexpensive relay of this type which takes up little space and enables good observation of the contact points despite the compact arrangement of its parts.
According to the invention, for this purpose the magnetic circuits formed by the magnetic cores and armatures are influenced by the winding or windings of a single coil, with armatures arranged parallel to the magnetic cores. This arrangement, in contrast to such relays of the type mentioned with several coils and freely movable armatures, significantly reduces the space requirement and at the same time enables good observation and access to the contact points. This also reduces costs.
The invention is shown in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment on an enlarged scale, u. between FIG. 1 in side view, in FIG. 2 in plan view and in FIG. 3 in front view. The relay consists of the coil 1, which can contain one or more windings. The ends of the coil are limited in the usual way by coil heads 2 and 3, which are expedient

Coil 1 protrude and at one end each carry a connection eyelet 51, 5II, 5Ill, while the other end forms the pole piece for the associated armature 61, 6II, 6Ill. These are arranged parallel to the cores below the coil 1.
They also consist of flat iron and each have a connection eyelet 81, 8II, 8Ill. The armatures 61, 6II, 6Ill are bent in a U-shape and, with their rear bent end, are movably mounted on the cores, but isolated therefrom. They are held in place by means of a perforated insulating disk 7, which is pushed over the anchors and cores. The front coil disk 3 has a recess 9 through which the armatures 6I, 61I, 6Ill protrude and rest on their lower edges in the non-energized state of the relay.
The free end of the armature 6I, 6II, 6III assigned to the pole pieces of the cores 4I, dz dIn is expediently provided with a contact tip which, when no current flows through the relay, is out of contact with the assigned pole piece of the cores. When a current passes, however, the armatures 6I, 6II, 6Ill are moved out of their rest position by the force line field formed on the pole pieces of the cores and brought into contact with the pole piece of the cores, whereby a current transfer takes place between the armatures and cores, so that the circuits connected to them getting closed.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the cores and the armatures have the same dimensions, but they can also be different in order to achieve a different time actuation of the armature.
The position of the anchors in relation to the cores can also be different from that shown. Furthermore, if the relay is designed accordingly, the armature can actuate both working and normally closed contacts.

As the described arrangement shows, an extremely simple and therefore inexpensive relay is achieved, which takes up little space and enables good observation of the contact points, thus meeting all the requirements that are placed on a relay of this type to a high degree.
