Description
Description: The invention relates to a breathable and waterproof shoe sole, comprising an air-permeable insole, a midsole with channels, which open in marginally arranged openings of the midsole and are at least partially open at their interface to the insole, a water-tight and vapor-permeable closing the edge-side openings Membrane, a waterproof outsole, as well as provided with such a shoe sole shoe.
In the prior art, basically breathable and waterproof shoe soles are known, which contain devices for venting the interior of the shoe through the shoe sole. These devices provide vents on the underside of the outsole, which are covered to ensure waterproofness of the shoe sole with a waterproof and vapor-permeable membrane. A disadvantage of this arrangement of the vents, however, is that they clog over time and thus the vent is blocked.
Furthermore, shoe soles are known in which the venting takes place via the edge sides of the shoe sole. For example, European Patent Specification EP 1 201 143 B1 describes a breathable and waterproof shoe sole which consists of a lower waterproof component which constitutes the running surface, an upper component and a membrane which is impermeable to water and permeable to steam. The upper component includes a structural structure having interconnected apertured chambers. The chambers are arranged to the edge of the sole and connected via holes with the insole.
Devices of this kind have in common that a part of the air which has entered the chambers of the upper component is discharged via vent holes in the sole. However, the air delivery is not very efficient in these known shoe soles because at each step, a substantial amount of the accumulated in the chambers of the sole fumes of the foot remains in the chambers.
It is therefore an object of the invention to avoid the disadvantages resulting from the prior art, or at least reduce and to ensure efficient venting of the shoe over the edge sides of the shoe sole.
The object is achieved by an above-mentioned shoe sole, in which the channels are arranged extending in the midsole in the longitudinal direction and outwards to the edge-side openings and the channels are elastically together by the pressure of a foot mendrückbar together. The invention here makes use of the natural rolling movement of the foot during walking, in which the pressure area between the sole of the foot and the sole of the shoe is continuously displaced forward from the heel area to the toe area. As a result of the pressure of the foot, the channels are elastically compressed in the pressure region, so that the air contained in the channels and containing the foot fumes is pressed out of the edge-side openings by the described displacement of the pressure region. By suitable choice of material of the midsole containing the channels and corresponding dimensioning of the channels in width and height, the channels can be continuously compressed or narrowed at the location of the pressure area displaced from the heel area to the front foot area substantially independently of the weight of the shoe wearer. According to the invention, the channels extend in a longitudinal direction of the shoe sole corresponding to the rolling movement of the foot and to the openings arranged at the edge. The number of channels and their initial areas in the shoe sole are preferably chosen so that ventilation over the largest possible surface area of the shoe sole is ensured. The channels can each be carried out individually or connected to one another, for example in the form of a tree-like structure. Likewise, for example, a channel can lead from one opening to another opening arranged in the longitudinal direction, so that fresh air can be sucked in via the rear opening and the moist air can be squeezed out via the front opening. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the channels have at least one elastic lamella, which on the one hand can serve as a support element for the channel, and on the other hand by their elastic deformation under the pressure of the foot the user supports the transport of the moist air within the channel in the direction of the edge-arranged openings and finally the squeezing out of the air through these openings.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the at least one elastic blade extends in the longitudinal direction of the channels, whereby the channel is divided into at least two parallel sub-channels. This is particularly advantageous for channels of greater width, since the at least one elastic blade serves as a support element for the channel, so that it assumes its original cross-sectional shape in the absence of the pressure by the foot again. The elasticity of the lamella nevertheless ensures that the channel can be pressed together to a sufficient extent by exerting the pressure by the foot in the pressure region in order to allow the air to be pressed out. A parallel advantageous number of elastic blades depends on the width of the channel and the elasticity of the material. Thus, for wider channels or particularly elastic materials a higher number of fins per channel may be appropriate. The orientation of the fins is preferably substantially parallel to the channel sidewalls so as not to increase the resistance to the expulsion of air from the channel. However, the course of the lamellae is by no means limited to an orientation substantially parallel to the channels. Thus, the lamellae may have a smaller extent in the longitudinal direction or non-parallel alignment with the channels, or be arranged in any, the transport of the discharged air supporting embodiment.
In an advantageous embodiment of the present invention, the edge arranged on the sole openings are arranged on opposite outer sides of the midsole. While an arrangement of the openings on a single edge side of the midsole within the scope of the invention is by no means excluded, allow openings on both sides, ie on the inside and the outside, the midsole even more efficient ventilation. In particular, hereby the length of the channels and thus the distance over which the air to be delivered is transported can be reduced. Furthermore, this embodiment enables a symmetrical arrangement of the channels with respect to a longitudinal axis of the shoe sole, whereby the comfort when walking on a shoe sole formed in this way can be increased.
To ensure the watertightness of the shoe sole, the edge-side openings, in which the channels according to the invention open, are closed with a watertight and vapor-permeable membrane.
Since such membranes can often consist of a thin, easily damaged material, it is possible according to an embodiment of the present invention to additionally cover this by a breathable protective element. This protective element may be formed of any suitable material, such as a plastic grid, and also satisfy essential aesthetic requirements for the sale of a shoe with the shoe sole according to the invention. It is essential here that the membrane is not destroyed by sharp objects or stones, otherwise the waterproofness of the shoe sole is no longer guaranteed and contamination of the channels on the side openings is possible.
According to one embodiment of the present invention, the midsole is made of plastic. By a suitable choice of the plastic material on the one hand a high walking comfort on the shoe sole is made possible, and on the other hand ensures the inventive elastic compression of the channels and the at least one elastic blade within the channels. In addition, the plastic of the midsole has waterproof properties.
According to another embodiment of the present invention, the insole is made of fabric. The fabric made of suitable material allows the passage of the foot fumes from the interior of the shoe into the canals. As a support surface for the sole of the foot, a preferably ergonomically shaped and vapor-permeable insole can be placed on the insole in order to increase the comfort of the user. As a fabric is any durable, suitable vapor-permeable properties having material in question.
The shoe sole according to the invention can be found in a shoe application that allows the user of the shoe by this novel, realized by means of channels ventilation system a particularly high level of comfort.
The object of the invention is also achieved by a shoe equipped with a shoe sole described above.
In the following, the invention will be described by way of non-limiting example embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings. In the drawings: Fig. 3 Fig. 3 Fig. 4 shows a shoe with a shoe sole according to the invention in a side view; the midsole in a view from above with no insole; a section along a longitudinal axis of the shoe sole; a schematic representation of the rolling movement of the foot while walking and the associated shift of the pressure area between the sole of the foot and the shoe sole; and Fig. 5 is a cross-section of the shoe sole in an enlarged view.
In Fig. 1, a shoe is shown in a side view showing a shoe sole 1 and a shoe upper 10. The shoe sole 1 has a midsole 5, a waterproof outsole 7 and an air-permeable insole 2 shown in FIG. At the edge sides of the midsole 5 those openings 4 are arranged, via which the venting takes place. As can be seen in FIG. 3, the insole 2 closes the midsole 5 upwards in the direction of the foot. The insole 2 is made permeable to air and vapor, so that perspiration of the foot can pass through this into the channels 3.
Fig. 2 shows a view of the midsole 5 from above, without insole 2. Inven tion, the channels 3 extend in the midsole 5 substantially in the longitudinal direction of the midsole 5 and out to the marginal openings 4. Especially essential for the present invention is that the channels 3 extend in the direction corresponding to the course of the pressure area between the sole of the foot and midsole 5 when walking. This course is illustrated in the sketches according to FIG. 4.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic representation of how the pressure area between the sole of the foot and midsole 5 and the area P of the substantially largest pressure between the outsole 7 and the walkway when walking in the direction of the arrow shown shifted from the heel area in the direction of the forefoot , Due to the elastic properties of the midsole 5 is effected by the pressure of the foot in the region of greatest pressure between the sole and midsole 5, a compression of the respective channel 3. By the pressure caused by longitudinally and outwardly displacing closure of the channels 3 is the in the respective channel 3 contained air through the openings 4 pushed out of the midsole 5 and thus ensures optimum ventilation.
The course of the channels 3 according to FIG. 2 is to be considered as an example only and is not intended to be limiting. Thus, for example, the channels 3 could be arranged so that they lead only to edge-side openings 4 from one side of the shoe sole 1. Likewise, some or all of the channels 3 could be interconnected or connect substantially longitudinally extending apertures 4 on opposite edge sides of the shoe sole 1 (not shown).
[0026] Wie insbesondere Fig. 2 zu entnehmen ist, schützt eine die randseitigen Öffnungen 4 dampfdurchlässig verschließende Membran 6 die Kanäle 3 vor eindringendem Wasser und 3/9As can be seen in particular Fig. 2, protects the edge-side openings 4 vapor-permeable closing membrane 6, the channels 3 against penetrating water and 3/9
