Es ist schon ein Schuh bekannt. bei welchem das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit durch die Verschnürung mittels eines an der einen Seite des Oberleders befestigten Decklappens verhindert werden soll, der über die Verschnürung gelegt und an der anderen Seite des Schuhes mittels eines Verschlussmittels befestigt wird, dessen eine Hälften an dieserSeite des Schuhes einzeln an diesem befestigt sind. Hieraus ergibt sich der Übelstand, dass die Verbindung dieser Verschlusshälften mit dem Leder durch den für ein dichtes Anliegen der Lappen an dem Schuh aufzuwendenden starken Zug bald gelockert und auch das Oberleder selbst hiedurch in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wird, so dass dann insbesondere an diesen Stellen eine Abdichtung gegen Feuchtigkeit nicht mehr erzielt werden wird.
Erfindungsgemäss wird dieser Übelstand dadurch beseitigt, dass die mit den vom Decklappen getragenen Verschlusshälften zusammenwirkenden anderen Hälften auf einem besonderen, an dem Oberleder befestigten Lederstreifen angebracht sind, durch welchen eine unzulässige Beanspruchung der Verbindung zwischen den Verschlusshälften und dem Lederstreifen und des Oberleders selbst verhindert wird. Ferner ist es möglich, die Verschlusshälften auf den beiden Lappen weiter gegen die Mitte hin zu verlegen, was den Vorteil ergibt, dass ein Hängenbleiben, z. B. im Gehölz usw., ausgeschlossen ist.
Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines Schuhes gemäss der Erfindung im Schaubild.
