Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Procedure for the operation of Danipfkraftatilagen.

   The invention relates to steam power plants in which, in order to maintain a constant heating network voltage, a medium or low pressure accumulator is provided which receives steam both from the engine and from a waste heat boiler. In systems of this type, devices were previously provided to allow only steam of a certain quality to flow to the store from both exhaust steam sources and in this way to prevent the fluctuating storage pressure from propagating into the engine or the waste heat boiler.

   According to the present invention, only the steam supply from the engine to the accumulator is regulated by means of a regulating and shut-off device, whereas the waste heat boiler and the accumulator are controlled directly, i. H. are connected to one another without an interposed regulating device, so that the waste heat boiler takes part in the pressure fluctuations of the storage tank.

   The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the invention in a schematic representation.

   The steam power plant consists of the steam accumulator a, which feeds a two-casing steam turbine b, c through the line g, the electric power generator rl driven by the turbine, a waste heat boiler {and a medium or low pressure accumulator t. The connecting line h between the two turbine parts b, c is connected to the water space of the storage tank i by a line k provided with a check valve 0. The waste heat boiler f supplies the generated steam through a
 EMI1.1
 Control or shut-off valve installed, so that the waste heat boiler takes part in the pressure fluctuations in the memory i, while the check valve o keeps these pressure fluctuations from the engine.

  If the pressure in the storage device i falls as a result of increased steam extraction, the pressure in the waste heat boiler f also falls. As a result of the pressure reduction in the waste heat boiler, there is a lively development of steam from the hot water, this steam flows into the storage tank i, so that the hot water content of the waste heat boiler is also used for the storage effect.

   If, on the other hand, as in the known steam systems of the type described, a valve is built into the connecting line j which only allows steam of a certain voltage to flow into the memory i, the waste heat boiler f is switched off during those operating times in which due to increased steam extraction the voltage in the memory i has decreased, thus precisely in those cases in which a greater memory effect would be necessary.
