Abstract

The physical-cognitive training method takes elements from boxing, functional training, and even physiotherapy in order to evaluate and generate protocols to prevent injuries, always with the focus on the individual and collective progression of the students and physical well-being. and mental. The proposed training method has a triple approach to the activity, consisting of the physical part, an emotional and mental part, and a cognitive part, these edges, applied and thought by the teacher to be suitable for each student, both individually and collectively, They are presented in a fun way and suitable for the current level of the student, with the objective of their periodic progression. The method comprises 5 stages: a warm-up stage lasting between 5 and 15 minutes, directed and individualized to each student, carrying out joint mobility, movement, dynamic flexibility, balance, stability, activation of the middle zone, coordination and games; the stage after the warm-up with boxing techniques focused on the physical and mental capacity of the student in preparation for the later stage, this stage lasts for 5 minutes; the circuit of functional training prolonged to 15 minutes, mixing basic movements of functional training with tools such as HIIT, HIPT, Intermittent metabolic, Interval and Tabata, with a group approach and a reciprocal teaching; the second-to-last stage, lasting 20 minutes, made up of a mix of bag boxing, lower body and “combat school” exercises between partners, unlike what is usually done individually; the last stage of 10 minutes, containing games, socialization among colleagues, flexibility and breathing work and / or meditation.
