Abstract
Es un dispositivo concebido para distinguir plantas del suelo agrícola (background de suelo); del tipo que utiliza una cámara fotográfica para proceder con la captura de imágenes y procesar las mismas con el objeto de realizar la detección de malezas, y a partir de ello, con la información que se obtiene, accionar un actuador que controla el funcionamiento de correspondientes medios valvulares que comandan el trabajo de los rociadores dispuestos en el botalón portador que posee de la pulverizadora, a través de los cuales es posible aplicar productos herbicidas o bien ejercer un control que podrá ser mecánico o químico sobre las mismas. Comprende una cámara digital de gran resolución VGA (1), asociada a un circuito integrado CCD, desde donde se envía información un procesador (2), el cual evalúa las imágenes suministradas por la cámara digital mediante un algoritmo que diferencia material vegetal de otros objetos y acciona a un controlador electrónico que actúa como nexo entre la consola de mando, que se aloja dentro del habitáculo, transmitiendo la orden de apertura a cada electroválvula, dispuesta sobre el porta picos del botalón, que comanda el funcionamiento de un respectivo pico rociador; el dispositivo incluye correspondientes conectores estancos, a través de los cuales se canaliza información y transmisión de datos; incluyendo un medio traductor de protocolos, encargado de codificar la señal que proviene del botalón a un idioma apto para la consola interna, a través de la cual se muestra el funcionamiento de cada dispositivo permitiendo que se puedan modificar parámetros. Una fuente de alimentación de 12 V es transformada por el CCD a 5 V que son los necesarios para enviar la orden de trabajo al procesador, a la cámara y a cada válvula, la misma se dispone conectada en forma directa a los gabinetes dispuestos en correspondencia de cada válvula sobre el botalón, para los proveer la electricidad necesaria tanto para los leds (5), placa (3), procesador cámara (2) y electroválvula (8). El procesador envía una orden de trabajo a la cámara VGA para que comience con el proceso de toma de imágenes a 30 fps de la superficie, cada una de las cuales es analizada y procesada por un software, cuyos resultados obtenidos son enviados como orden de trabajo al CCD que trasmite una señal con frecuencia y ancho determinada (según la información recibida) a cada válvula. Asimismo, mediante comunicación serial al CCD, quien la traduce para una comunicación CAN y luego la envía al monitor; paso previo de recibir la información, se recurre a un traductor de protocolos que convierte la comunicación CAN en serial nuevamente para que un dispositivo de monitoreo lo pueda leer. El traductor de protocolos es el encargado de codificar la señal proveniente de los gabinetes portadores de las válvulas dispuestos sobre el botalón, a un idioma apto para la consola interna a través de la cual es posible ver el estado de funcionamiento de los diferentes dispositivos, corregir y regular del ángulo de visión de cada cámara.
